"I have many, many great things to say about this cabin. We had a group of 6 adults, a 3 year old, and a 7 month old. The house was updated, very clean inside, had the perfect amount of space for our needs, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Being right on the river was lovely and the grass had all been mowed before we got there. There were two fire pit areas that were great (one by the house and one right on the river). Perfect distance to the mountains, town, and river activities. It was great that there were some toys and books left in the living room for my two young children!! And even better there were some birds that had nested around the house. I miss waking up and sitting on the deck or the bench by the river with my cup of coffee!
I did not give this location 5 stars because we experienced lots of spiders (I know..I know...we're in the woods). Maybe the deck and around the house had been cleaned of spider webs before we arrived, but it did not seem to have been. I didn't expect to be bug free, but there were a lot of BIG ones hanging right outside all the doors and windows (luckily only two harmless daddy long legs in the house). We couldn't find a broom to wipe away the webs outside, so we bought one and left one for the next guests. Once we removed the webs, there were fewer, but they were still around. Add to that there were wasp nests above the sliding glass doors, which is probably a bit more serious of an issue. The other issue was the grill could use to be replaced, but it works.
I would definitely recommend this place and will book this place for future trips!!!! Just wipe down the house of all the webs when you arrive if they haven't been already!"

"We arrived the day after 6-8 inches of fresh snow had fallen. We were thrilled to see that the entire driveway and parking areas had been plowed, and the front walk and porch had been shoveled. William even left us a bag of salt in case we had trouble with any icy spots. He was also helpful in trying to resolve a wi-fi issue. (This got straightened out our first evening there, so it was not a big deal at all.) The house was great. We gathered with our children and their spouses, along with our dogs, to celebrate our 35th anniversary. The layout was perfect for cooking, sitting around the fire and talking, eating at the large table, and enjoying the beautiful decor and views out the large windows and doors. We did not get to hike the trails, but we did enjoy walks on the golf course where the dogs could run in the snow. We also slept extremely well; this house has incredibly comfortable beds. It was very clean and well-cared for, and I'd recommend it to anyone."

"It was a great trip. We enjoyed the stay immensely. Barbara was very helpful, and best of all, she was always a phone call away. The kitchen was fully furnished and everything was clean. It was a peaceful and scenic getaway."
