"Six of us ventured to Winthrop for a weekend of outdoor adventure and relaxation. This place couldn't be more perfect. We hung out in the river in tubes with an anchor- it was 100-105 degrees for our visit. We did venture away briefly from the home to tube the Methow River and mtn bike Sun Mtn trails. The location is remote yet just <2 miles from the the town of Winthrop. The couple from Cleveland who have been in Washington State for the last 6-8 years, stated they had seen more wildlife in Winthrop in one weekend than their entire span in WA. We really enjoyed the company of a pair of owls each morning and even the squawking of the Kingfisher. The home has all the amenities but most important was the surroundings. Note: if you do choose to go tubing- remember the water level is pretty low and if you aren't careful, your bum will encounter rocks submerged just below the surface. Three of us have grapefruit size bruises and memories that will last our lifetime."

"Hazel's is a beautifully maintained and equipped home, providing a cozy yet spacious location to enjoy all Winthrop has to offer. Steps away from shops, restaurants and of course, Old School House Brew Pub. Members of our family visiting from Colorado and California raved about it's amenities and how comfortable they were. Stephanie is a great host. We look forward to a return visit!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Big Game Cabin. We loved the wood stove as we don't have one at our house. It really kept the whole house house toasty:) The kitchen was well equipped with any cooking utensils you may need. The surroundings are beautiful and property doesn't sit too close to the neighbors so you feel like you are in the woods. Just a couple of things that could be improved that kinda struck us as odd was that the towels were really old and some were brown with bleach stains all over them. There was also a hole in the shower curtain (the plastic one). The queen bed downstairs also had a bleach mark on the blue fitted sheet. I feel that this didn't take away from the great time we had but maybe get a whole bunch of new white towels so they don't get wrecked in the future;) Thanks so much!!

"Our family enjoyed our weekend at this clean, comfortable riverbank cabin. We fished and watched pink salmon spawning in the river right in front of the cabin. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area and we took advantage of that and had access to the hot tub next door at the owners cabin to relax in the evening."
