"The owner was so easy to work with! Why can't all travelling be this fun! We hope to make this place an annual tradition, so close to the Lake...so far from traffic and noise. Great big kitchen for our large group to eat and cook in, loved the spa...thanks Karen!"Guest: Ben Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 20, 2014View listing
"We stayed in this home for a family reunion for a week. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Here are the pros: * Good for a group with lots of adults, because none of the beds are rooms full of bunk beds. * The home is lovely - well maintained, well decorated, comfortable. * Three bathrooms, all with a tub or shower, so no fighting over the bathroom! * The view - it is absolutely beautiful and amazing. My favorite spot was the deck overlooking the lake. * The lake - Lake Wenatchee seems to be a hidden jewel in Washington state. It wasn't crowded or noisy. * Lots of water toys and tools available - a canoe, a kayak, a paddle board were all on the beach waiting to be used. In a closet in the house, we found life preservers in many sizes, along with sand toys, blow up air mattresses and water toys. The cons: * The description reads 4 bedrooms, but it's really 3. The room described as a 4th bedroom with a single bed is really a wide open space which the front door opens into, with a railing overlooking the main floor with a single size pull out sofa/chair. No privacy (or quiet) whatsoever. * The stone steps down to the beach are treacherous! Thank goodness for the rope handrail, because you need it. The "steps" are really large rocks set into a stair step pattern; but some of them are over 12 inches tall, so if you're young or elderly, you'll have trouble with these stairs. * The tv and surround sound system in the living room. You have to change the channel from the master bedroom, where you can't see the tv, so it really takes two people. And it took us until the last night to figure out how to turn the speakers on the deck off (but maybe that's because we're not familiar with surround sound systems). One last comment - this isn't really a negative, but check out of the picture of the driveway in the listing. It is REALLY steep (seriously, maybe a 40 degree angle?) from the road down to the house. When you turn down the driveway, for a second there, you can't see what's in front of you - feels like you're driving off a cliff. Overall - this is a wonderful home where the positives far outweigh the negatives. Go - you'll love it!"Guest: Laura K. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 2, 2014View listing
"We stayed a week here and created such good memories for our family. Their home is very well equipped and with 2 floors plus a loft there is plenty of room with privacy if you wish. The view is beautiful. The water is pretty cold but the young ones didn't mind and there are kayaks etc. to use if you don't want to go in the water. Leavenworth is not that far to visit and a fun place to go to. The owner was easy to reach if necessary. We would highly recommend renting it. There were 10 of us and it was a great get-away."Guest: Seahawks Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"The cabin description and pictures are accurate and after an initial delay, the owner was very helpful via email. The cabin felt more like a home than a vacation rental, as the kitchen and pantry were fully stocked. The hot tub and wood burning stove kept us warm and the kids stayed busy with the many toys, movies and games that were on hand. Unfortunately we didn't get snow during our Thanksgiving stay, but we did drive up the pass for some sledding and a few of us also hiked to the top of Dirtyface Peak. The Dirtyface trail was snowy for about half the way, which made for a challenging but fun 9+ mile roundtrip hike with awesome views. We are already talking about coming back again next year!"Guest: Andrew P. Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: January 5, 2014View listing
Lake Wenatchee Travel Tips
Have a Great Vacation at Lake Wenatchee Lodging
Lake Wenatchee is one of the best vacation spots around, because of the natural beauty that's found there. The Lake Wenatchee cabins offer great amenities, and they're some of the best choices when it comes to finding vacation rentals in that area. Because they're close to everything but still far enough away to feel private and secluded, you can enjoy everything from a family trip to a romantic getaway at Lake Wenatchee lodging. Booking early and visiting in the off-season can offer you some amazing deals, too, so those are two things that are definitely worth considering, especially if you're taking a lot of people or money are tight.
Restaurants in Lake Wenatchee
You may really love the Lake Wenatchee cabins, but the odds are high that you don't want to stay in them all day. Getting out and about can be fun, and it gives you a chance to try out the great food that can be found close to Cascade Mountains vacation rentals. Picky eaters and those who are on restricted diets can still find great food in that area of the country, so don't let anything stop you from enjoying your vacation time there. Be sure to check out Inna's Cuisine and Visconti's Italian Restaurant for great local options.
Don't Forget to See the Sights
There are plenty of things to see that aren't far from Lake Wenatchee lodging, so be sure to get out and explore all that the area has to offer. While you're looking around, take the time to visit Lincoln Rock State Park and the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. There's so much to see that you'll fill your days with all types of great things and have plans to come back to see more the next time.
