  • Great time on the river

"We had a great time at the River Vista Haus. When we arrived the house was clean and is well stocked for cooking. We really didn't need anything besides the ingredients for the meal we were cooking. The house has a nice gas stove, a double oven, gas BBQ, great dish washer, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans to serve a large group of people. There is three bed rooms, two with queens and one master with a King bed and walk in closet(full of hangers) and a bath tub and walk in shower. There is another guest bathroom upstairs. Down stairs the kids have their own TV and Xbox with plenty of games, a huge tub of Legos, and a huge tub of blocks. There is also a kids bathroom that has a standup tub/shower. In the closets there was extra air mattresses(5 of them!), an extra twin mattress and lots of sheets and blankets. There is a ton of floor space and pull out couches as well as a futon. We had 13 people stay the night very comfortably, still had room for more. We reserved this house about 12 hours before we arrived and were contacted promptly by the owners who were very polite and helpful in getting it set up for our arrival. The best part for me was Fish lake just about 3 miles away, where we rented a pontoon boat for the whole family($25/hr) and drug some "Ford Fenders" through the water with worms and hooked trout after trout. My nephew and I went back day after day and rented a small aluminum boat($15/hr) and did very well as well. The moms enjoyed sitting out on the deck, in the hot tub, or down by the river. There is lots of geese and ducks on the river, and we even watched a Bald eagle cruise up and down the river, and even dive in and get a fish. We walked out of the front door and turned 90 degrees to the right and hoked about 300 yards to the upstream loop of the river and played on the river bank, then walked the entire loop back. It was very easy. We took a small raft, hiked up stream of the little island, and paddled out and played on it as well. The water was painfully cold, but the kids loved the adventure. My whole family can't wait to go back and rent this house again. Thank you very much to the owners for sharing their lovely retreat with us!"

  • Great Christmas Cabin

"We stayed at the cabin with our two daughters, 8 and 10, over Christmas. It was a winter wonderland setting. The cabin is well stocked, very clean and very comfortable. It was nice to arrive to a warm cabin when it was freezing outside - we didn't have to wait for things to heat up. The hot tub was a nice amenity, we used it several times. Lake Wenatchee is very close and it's beautiful. The drive into Leavenworth was a short 15 miles so we went in everyday. The town was decorated for Christmas, definitely a reason to go in winter. If we are up this way again, we would come back and stay at the Memory Lane cabin. Thank you!"

  • Perfect for our Girls Weekend - One Block From Town!

"The location is perfect - literally one block from town yet set back in a woodsy area near the river. A little difficult to find if you follow a mapping app instead of the directions given to you by the owner - you end up doing a little off-roading up this dirt road. Our fault obviously, not the owners! The beds are so comfortable! There was plenty of bedding and pillows and both hot tub and bath towels. The beds and bedrooms are set up in a way that couples, ladies groups or even families would all be comfortable! Young kids might be a little tricky with all the stairs? 3 1/2 bathrooms for 10 women was such a luxury! They even had some travel sized toiletries in case we forgot ours and hair dryers in a couple of the bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked, there was plenty of everything! We brought our crockpot with us but we didn't need to since there was one at the house! We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone!"

  • Great for our family

"Six adults, a teenager and two 5 years olds spent a great, warm weekend here in early March. Would have preferred a king size bed but the oldest couple adjusted to main floor queen bed although bath across the hall was a bit awkward. Younger couples upstairs with shared bath. Kids in the downstairs rec room. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved the fire pit. Loved the ping pong and foos ball. Living space was comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking meals for 9. Appreciated wifi."
