"This photos of this place do not do it justice! It's so quaint and adorable! We loved our time here. Everything you need is provided. Except foil and coffee. :) The rooms are lovely, the beds are cozy and comfortable. You can tell that this is a well loved home. The woodstove was great after playing in the snow. There's even hooks above to hang your gear to dry it. Everything works perfectly. You do need four-wheel drive to get to the cabin. The roads are all clear until you get to the driveway which is pretty steep! We just shifted into "low 4x4" and had no issues. Someone even came and graveled the driveway during the night. We got coffee at the Hardware Store in Plain. Very cute place! And were only 20 minutes to Leavenworth or so. We loved everything about the cabin. It's roomy, and the rooms are spread out over 3 floors so everyone has space. We are already hoping to book next Christmas! (PS, DVD was still not working.. but there's cable so we survived). (PSS there's no internet or cell service). :)"

"During the holiday season the management staff changed for Der Hoffway Haus, and the previous management moved to Oregon to deal with family health issues making contact difficult. She wanted to deal with this issue as she had booked Todd specifically. I was unaware that nothing had been done. When I was contacted by Todd, initially he ranted at me about the cabin not being decorated for Christmas and didn't let me get a word in edgewise. By the time he finished and allowed me to speak I was so upset that my upset and irritation came out improperly and I did apologize. I had no idea that the previous manager had stated that the cabin would be decorated for Christmas. My husband was diagnosed with cancer two weeks prior to their holiday stay, so we were unable to get up there and decorate because of his health and many prior trips up there to repair damage by previous renters had also exhausted him due to his health issues. Had we been aware of the managers promise we would have hired someone to complete the decorating process. Everything was in place with the exception of the tree and swags. Early last week I made the property managers aware that they can offer a partial refund and will contact them again today to see where they are in the process of making good on that. I hope this is a satisfactory explanation for the happening and again I did and continue to apologize for the difficulties."

"Fabulous place. Beautiful and tasteful. Clean and well stocked. Easy access to parking. Everything we needed. Views were out of this world! Would we go back, absolutely! We were very respectful of the house and left our shoes at the door and treated the place better than our own. It was so gracious of the owners to open their condo to us. We sat out on the balcony every single night and enjoyed the beautiful weather and watched the sun set over the mountain and the moon rise. On Saturday, we enjoyed a live blues band playing across the way. So perfect! The master bedroom bed was so comfy, I wanted to take it home. We only used our car one day the four days we were there and that was to go hiking and to go to the Icicle Ridge Winery. Two great places to eat dinner were Pavz and South. WE had a HUGE awesome breakfast at Louie's also. What I really loved is that this place is right in town, but not on the main strip where it is crazy and loud all day long. We had our own little paradise with great views of the mountains. Thank you again for opening your condo to us. We will recommend this place to all our friends and hope to be back in a couple years. And thank you Sarah for being so quick to respond to my emails and calls...that was GREATLY appreciated."

"We had 4 adults and 2 young children. It is a great place for children because of all the places to go in the cabin, movies to see, toys to entertain and games to play. The cabin was clean, but some of the bedding was in poor shape and should be replaced. We liked the layout of the cabin.
In the winter, the hot tub should be maintained. The driveway became very icy, one member of our party fell and had to go to the local ER and have several stitches. Be very careful if there is snow and ice!"
