North Shore Paradise
"My family fell in love with
North Shore Lodge immediately as the comfort and
craftsmanship of the Home was stunning; the location and
proximity of Lake Wenatchee across the street was
ideal. North Shore Lodge is a day trippers
paradise with hiking, horseback riding, rafting, boating, fishing, swimming,
zip lining, snowmobiling, skiing and exploring the quaint
bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington. My families
time at North Shore Lodge was wonderful with the views of
the lake from the home to the
warmth of the hot tub and the comfort of the beds made my
stay welcome and my sleep come easy. My hectic city life was
replaced with quiet, quaint and the comfort of North Shore
Lodge life. We spent the evening on the deck
barbequing and taking in the views
and the mountain air. Loved the fire
“Wonderful space. Very Clean!

"We rented this house for a Birthday weekend and had a wonderful time. It was everything we expected it to be and more. We fell in love with the house as soon as we pulled in the driveway. I have rented many places through VRBO and this was by far my most favorite and the cleanest I've stayed in. The rooms were amazing, from the comfy beds to the heated tile floors in every bathroom. We were even lucky enough to wake up to snow on Saturday morning. After the hustle and bustle of the Christmas lighting in Leavenworth, it was nice to come back to this cozy house and warm fire. Patti was the easiest and nicest person to deal with and she was very accommodating during our stay. We enjoyed the house so much we wanted to stay longer, but had to return home for work. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and hopeful will be back myself."

"First off, I actually give our stay 4 1/2 stars but it wouldn't let me choose that option. I rounded up so as not to affect the rating on VRBO. Overall, our stay was amazing and this charming home delivered as promised.
Pros: Large grocery store with espresso stand across the street, McDonald's across the street (can you say wine hangover?), quick five minute walk to town, beautiful and spacious back yard, lovely deck, sizable living room with big comfy couch, extra unadvertised bedroom (tiny) with twin bed upstairs.
Cons: It was 95 degrees and when we arrived there was no air conditioner upstairs. It was HOT. We spent Friday night with the windows open and fans blowing and it wasn't too terribly bad but it was uncomfortable. Thankfully I got a call on our second day and the owners were in town wanting to install a brand new air conditioner. Of course we said yes and slept MUCH better the second night. The other con is the bathroom situation. Though the home does have three bathrooms, upstairs has a tub only (no shower) and the main floor shower is a tiny stand-up. The master bedroom is by far the most spacious and has both shower and tub combo.
Even though the bathrooms are not the most desirable layout I would definitely stay at this home again. All of the positives make it well worth the slight inconvenience of showering in the tiny downstairs shower - though if the owners wanted to upgrade something, that should be it. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and its may conveniences. And most importantly it was easy to walk to after a full day of "wine walking" for the annual Leavenworth Wine Walk! (Which was super fun by the way.)"
