"You couldn't ask for a better location. You have a beautiful view from the deck and you are right on the river. Well kept cottage and everything you need is provided. My only complaint is that it could have been a little cleaner. Those who stay in the cottage are asked to wash their own dishes. I found a glass with lip marks on it and crumbs in the cupboard."

"My wife and I rented this A-frame for its only 3 nights of availability to explore the Lake Wenatchee recreational area on the Eastern side of Stevens Pass. It is located in the pine studded Alpine Tracts neighborhood a short walk above the neighborhood beach and boat/fishing dock on peaceful Fish Lake.
Things I most liked:
-Neat and clean A-frame cabin, well-stocked for comfortable stay.
-Peaceful tree-studded setting, with partial view of lake surface from spacious deck.
-Family friendly neighborhood fishing dock with beautiful scenic views of Fish Lake and its backdrop of alpine mountains.
-Friendly neighborhood populated by approachable active residents who seemed to most like the local fishing in summer and snow-mobiling in winter.
-Nearby drive to 'The Cove' where you can buy basic refreshments and rent boats for leisurely fishing and/or cruising on Fish Lake.
-Slightly longer drive to local Squirrel Tree Restaurant or to a Diner for burgers, or to the Midway Market for grocery provisions.
-Short drive to larger Lake Wenatchee State Park and campground for beautiful public beach and ski-boat launch ramp.
-Nearby scenic Kahler Glen golf course and associated light-fare restaurant/lounge.
-Half-hour drive on Hwy 2 along Wenatchee River to busy but charming Leavenworth Bavarian village.
-Farther on toward Wenatchee, the cute little town of Cashmere with Applets Candy and a nice historic pioneer park that the whole family will enjoy.
To me, this cabin is a good bargain that had everything we were seeking, and has much more to offer than a hectic stay at any commercial lodge or motel in the vicinity."

"This home has everything you need! The kitchen was fully loaded and then some. The house is very well taken care of, it was so spacious and had some place for any activity. We had 6 kids and I never once heard "I'm bored"!! Total win for us all! Would definitely stay here again. Great for combining 2 households too! Beautiful property! The only thing the kids were tremendously disappointed in was the fact they couldn't climb the rock! :-)"

Leavenworth, WA 'Der Rothaus' at Icicle Village Resort 'the Ella' Dec 2014
"My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Since we met while stationed in Germany, seemed fitting spending our 20th in Leavenworth! We could not have been happier with the room. It was clean in appearance and smell. The holiday decor made it very cozy. A nice electric fireplace that was sufficient for the living room. From the living room, with the blinds open, you have a gorgeous view of the snow-capped hills. The kitchen had everything, living room, W/C...everything was stocked, functioned, and plenty of hot water. You can eat in the room or venture out. The hotel restaurant was pretty dang good for not being in Germany...to include the waitress not knowing what pommes frites were ;) Regardless, the food was great, the staff outstanding. The condo is about a 5-10 min walk to the main strip. Plenty of food / shopping options. It's a little pricey, but we hit the Christkringlemarkt weekend...BUT we have zero complaints. It was quiet, romantic, and functional. We shall return!"
