"My wife and I enjoyed three wonderful nights at this beautiful, remote home. We found the house immaculate and in perfect order with all the amenities anyone could possibly want or desire. The furnishings are beautiful and the beds extremely comfortable. The home comes equipped with nearly new appliances to include a gas range, stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. No need to over-pack or bring excessive luggage. Everything you need is provided.
The house is very private with your nearest neighbor at least 250 yards in the distance. The views from the windows and wrap-around porch are absolutely stunning. In regards to local attractions, the house is located 15 minutes from the entrance to the Okanogan National Forest and Crawfish Lake. I strongly suggest bringing a map of the Okanogan National Forest along with you as you will want to explore the area. There are also a number of nearby back roads that are perfect for taking in the local scenery and visiting historic sites.
The nearest restaurants and major stores are located in Omak (Wal-Mart), which is 20 miles away. There is a local convenience store and gas station in the town of Riverside, 14 miles from the house. Be sure to fill-up your vehicle with gas before leaving Omak or at the Riverside store. The only word of caution I might offer is that many of the local roads are marked "Private Road - No Trespassing". The local residents place a very high value on their privacy, and seem a bit sensitive to tourists.
My wife and I look forward to returning again very soon. We absolutely loved our experience in the Tunk Valley!"

"We loved our stay at this great cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their space. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. Nate was great to work with and quick to answer phone calls. The basement room (which has a bunk bed with full bed on bottom, 2 twins and another full bed =7 sleep spots) is pretty chilly but the extra heater helps - if kids are sleeping here, you may want very warm jammies. The hot tub was heaven to get into when you came in from outside in the snow and cold. There is satelite tv on the main floor only - so bring extra dvd's to watch on the other tv's. We truly enjoyed our stay here - the kids didn't want to leave! Thanks again Nate for such a great place to stay!"

"We were booked in this cabin for Feb 15th and 16th. Unfortunately, Feb has been a very warm month and a few days before we were due to arrive, Snoqualmie shut down their lift and skiing operations. I had not checked the Snoqualmie website and hadn't know this but Brandi emailed me to let me know what had happened. She very graciously gave us the option to keep our cabin reservation or to be able to cancel and she would refund us our deposit. Outside of these unusual circumstances, her cancellation policy is already a very generous one.
Throughout the booking process, Brandi was exceptionally helpful and very easy to communicate with. She answered all of my email questions promptly and I feel that she has the highest personal standards of conduct and is a trustworthy person. I am very much looking forward to booking a future reservation to stay in her lovely cabin."

"We had a great time at the River Vista Haus. When we arrived the house was clean and is well stocked for cooking. We really didn't need anything besides the ingredients for the meal we were cooking. The house has a nice gas stove, a double oven, gas BBQ, great dish washer, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans to serve a large group of people. There is three bed rooms, two with queens and one master with a King bed and walk in closet(full of hangers) and a bath tub and walk in shower. There is another guest bathroom upstairs. Down stairs the kids have their own TV and Xbox with plenty of games, a huge tub of Legos, and a huge tub of blocks. There is also a kids bathroom that has a standup tub/shower. In the closets there was extra air mattresses(5 of them!), an extra twin mattress and lots of sheets and blankets. There is a ton of floor space and pull out couches as well as a futon. We had 13 people stay the night very comfortably, still had room for more. We reserved this house about 12 hours before we arrived and were contacted promptly by the owners who were very polite and helpful in getting it set up for our arrival. The best part for me was Fish lake just about 3 miles away, where we rented a pontoon boat for the whole family($25/hr) and drug some "Ford Fenders" through the water with worms and hooked trout after trout. My nephew and I went back day after day and rented a small aluminum boat($15/hr) and did very well as well. The moms enjoyed sitting out on the deck, in the hot tub, or down by the river. There is lots of geese and ducks on the river, and we even watched a Bald eagle cruise up and down the river, and even dive in and get a fish. We walked out of the front door and turned 90 degrees to the right and hoked about 300 yards to the upstream loop of the river and played on the river bank, then walked the entire loop back. It was very easy. We took a small raft, hiked up stream of the little island, and paddled out and played on it as well. The water was painfully cold, but the kids loved the adventure.
My whole family can't wait to go back and rent this house again. Thank you very much to the owners for sharing their lovely retreat with us!"
