"Our family enjoyed our weekend at this clean, comfortable riverbank cabin. We fished and watched pink salmon spawning in the river right in front of the cabin. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area and we took advantage of that and had access to the hot tub next door at the owners cabin to relax in the evening."

"My husband and I had been looking at renting this cabin for the last couple of years it was always booked. We now know why!! Amazing location, the hiking trails were a fun way to spend the day. We found our most romantic spot to be on the deck sipping champagne listening to the water cascading over the rock bed of the creek. Rita and Scott made the stay feel very welcoming and if we needed something they were only a text away! If you get a chance, go swimming in the icy (brrrr) creek and then trek back up the hill and sit in the hot tub. We used the old converted stove for baking and it's super quick with the tea kettle. We thoroughly enjoyed and are already looking at coming back in a few months."

"We loved our stay at Maggie's cabin! The cabin is super cozy and cute, well thought out and decorated and has a gorgeous view! The arrival was easy coming from Seattle- we stopped in Monroe for groceries and rented DVDs from Safeway so we had everything we needed for our weekend get away in the rain. The fireplace was cozy and warmed the cabin and the hot tub was clean and relaxing! We appreciated the "what to bring" reminding us to bring paper towels etc one thing we might add to this list is ziplocks and aluminum foil etc. Wish we could have stayed longer!!"

"The view from this house is spectacular! From the moment we walked in the door, we couldn't stop admiring the picture-perfect view from the main floor and deck. We had 10 adults and 7 children/babies staying in this house and, while we did use every bedroom, it never felt overcrowded. There's so much living space to spread out in - the main living room/kitchen, the wraparound deck, the den, the reading nook upstairs, and the grassy yard with campfire pit.
The children loved the "kids corner" downstairs and all the lawn games while the adults appreciated the comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We all enjoyed playing in the river, both directly from the house and from the community parks. There's even a small playground at the park just a 1/4 mile (or so) west of the house. We also hiked nearby Wallace Falls and drove out to Skykomish to ride the train.
The only small problem we had was that the house was only stocked with 3 partial rolls of toilet paper and 2 dishwasher detergent tablets, so we had to run out to a store to replenish the supply after our first day. Everything else was well supplied - plenty of towels, spices, basic pantry items, pots/pans, kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated the careful labeling of each kitchen cabinet/drawer.
The house was very well maintained, clean, and the owner, Nicole, was lovely to work with. Thanks for a great weekend!"
