"My husband and I spent our 16th wedding anniversary at the South Fork Lodge. Could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. The view from the deck is both peaceful and gorgeous. Close by is Sunset Falls which is a must at sunset. The Lake Serene hike, pretty intense near the top, but soo worth it when you are sitting on Lunch Rock overlooking the lake. A perfect setting for an anniversary getaway!"

"We have stayed at this cabin twice this year because it's a peaceful oasis of tranquility! With a hot tub right off the back porch, a sauna a few feet away from that and all the sounds of nature and the river, you can't go wrong.
Last time we only stayed 2 nights and immediately realized we needed longer - so we did 6 this time. It's so peaceful there that we wish we could buy the cabin!
Mysty Mountain Properties does it right. The cabin is always spotless and the owner thinks of everything you may need; appliances, utensils, comforts, etc. If you're looking for a place to get away and reconnect with yourself, your spouse, or nature, go to this cabin!"

"My husband and I had been looking at renting this cabin for the last couple of years it was always booked. We now know why!! Amazing location, the hiking trails were a fun way to spend the day. We found our most romantic spot to be on the deck sipping champagne listening to the water cascading over the rock bed of the creek. Rita and Scott made the stay feel very welcoming and if we needed something they were only a text away! If you get a chance, go swimming in the icy (brrrr) creek and then trek back up the hill and sit in the hot tub. We used the old converted stove for baking and it's super quick with the tea kettle. We thoroughly enjoyed and are already looking at coming back in a few months."

"We stayed at this awesome cabin on a hot weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was just our family of three so we pretty much just stayed downstairs but there were a total of three comfy rooms. We met the owners who were as nice as could be. The river right outside the cabin was the best part as we were able to take chairs down to the bank and put our feet in the water. They also have tubes available that we tied up to a brick and floated in the water while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Great place and we plan on returning!!"
