"We stayed for 3 nights in January. The home is beautiful! We've stayed in a lot of VRBO properties, and this is definitely a favorite. Everything is as described. There are plenty of beds for all, even a bed on the sleeping porch, which I call dibs on if we go back in the summer! Kids loved playing in the snow outside, everyone enjoyed the cozy nooks for reading, etc...The location is excellent. Not on groomed xc trails, but we were aware of that, and didn't mind driving to get to them. Some VRBO rentals are much smaller than described, but this one has plenty of room. We were a party of 8. Pocket doors to close off the dining and kitchen area is a great idea for those of us who get up early and start coffee etc..we didn't wake up those who were sleeping in the loft. We want to come back in summer or early fall and use the outdoor firepit and enjoy the screened in dining room and porches!"

"Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at RiverSong Suites! Everything about the 4 days we stayed there was perfect. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and the river and mountain views were perfect! Also enjoyed the all the nice attributes of good coffee, cute decorating, 55 inch flat screen TV and the comfy furniture. Easy to find, easy to walk to downtown and back. It was a great break from the hectic life style back home."

"Six of us ventured to Winthrop for a weekend of outdoor adventure and relaxation. This place couldn't be more perfect. We hung out in the river in tubes with an anchor- it was 100-105 degrees for our visit. We did venture away briefly from the home to tube the Methow River and mtn bike Sun Mtn trails. The location is remote yet just <2 miles from the the town of Winthrop. The couple from Cleveland who have been in Washington State for the last 6-8 years, stated they had seen more wildlife in Winthrop in one weekend than their entire span in WA. We really enjoyed the company of a pair of owls each morning and even the squawking of the Kingfisher. The home has all the amenities but most important was the surroundings. Note: if you do choose to go tubing- remember the water level is pretty low and if you aren't careful, your bum will encounter rocks submerged just below the surface. Three of us have grapefruit size bruises and memories that will last our lifetime."

"My fiance and I stayed in The Aspen Hollow cabin for 2 nights in August. Even though it says 1 bdrm, in addition there is actually a loft upstairs with a Queen bed and 2 twin beds -- we slept up there the first night and it is pretty private. This is about a 5-10 minute drive out of Winthrop on a property with a few other cabins, but this one has it's own driveway and you cannot see anything other than trees and nature...nor can you hear anything but the frogs and crickets! This cabin is actually nicer than it appears in the pictures -- it is very clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots, spices and seasonings and we loved the large, family style dinner table (even though this trip was just the 2 of us, we had visions of bringing the whole family back, cooking dinner and playing one of the many stocked games provided by the owners!). Even though we did not use them, the property also had a community hot tub and pool -- maybe next time! The only drawbacks I had, which I consider EXTREMELY small but worth mentioning...is the upstairs queen bed is not the best bed in the universe....seems a little old and "springy"....probably better for kids who don't weigh as much (we spent the first night upstairs, then moved down to a MUCH BETTER bed in the bedroom downstairs for the 2nd night). Also, the railing on the balcony off the upstairs loft was a little loose. Other then that, our weekend was pretty much perfect and this cabin was better than expected, especially for the price in comparison to others in the area. We loved the privacy, peace and quiet. Will we be back? You bet!"
