"This property has two homes on it. We stayed in the bigger one. The home is comfortable and clean. The kitchen comes with everything you will need to prepare meals. There are nice grassy areas for dogs. The river is right there and it is a sandy easy access to the water. The only con is there is no decent outdoor grill. There is a small charcoal one but it was dirty so we didn't want to use it."

Beautiful location with roomy, comfortable, clean home!
"This was the perfect location for our ministry retreat! Plenty of room for all spending the weekend plus those who came for the day on Saturday. Very well stocked with cooking utensils, appliances etc. Lots of chairs and tables. Big grassy back yard was perfect for our outdoor team games. Cozy fireplace in main living room for chilly evenings. Although we were only 65 miles from home, we felt like we were far away in this secluded location with all the natural beauty of the gorge, the trees and mountains. A true retreat experience. Thank you for making your home available for others to enjoy! From young adults to older married couples, we all enjoyed the location and home."

Beautiful location, very comfortable accommodation -- but the trains
"We stayed at the Riverhouse two nights (5/23 and 5/24/14). The house itself is marvelous, the view unbelievable. There are two coves nearby that we enjoyed. The house is pet friendly, and our golden retriever certainly enjoyed being there, especially getting to swim in the coves. The property is mostly fenced, which helped with the dog. However, if it were my property I would want to let renters know that the railroad is right outside the fenced area, and trains come by several times, day and night (last night there were at least 5 trains), including at least one that appeared to be a train hauling crude oil. I know there's nothing that the owner can do about that, but I do think that it's worth mentioning to a potential renter. The fence does not fully enclose the property, so pets and children need to be monitored. You need to cross two sets of tracks leading to the property, and given the numbers of trains, one needs to be very diligent about crossing the tracks.
There's lots to see and do in the immediate area. Again, it's a beautiful, historical area, but as far as I'm concerned, the train is an issue and a potential renter should be informed. Not sure I would stay there again, only because of the train. Just too loud (and the house even shook)."
