"Came for a family trip with our's and friend's family! 4 kids and 4 adults. Such a cozy house! Perfect yard for the kids! Beach right around the corner! Everything you need stocked! Definitely recommend!"

"I cannot even begin to describe to you how absolutely, positively wonderful this property is. The view at sunrise is just awesome. Sitting out on the dock watching the light change is just magical. The house is stocked with everything that you could possibly need (to include an ice cream scooper, critical for making sundaes). My brothers, even having no luck while fishing, had a grand time. If I could figure out how to stay indefinitely with Connie and Winston (maybe they could adopt me) I would. I didn't want to leave.
For runners; there is the Marymere Falls trail, Spruce Trail, and OAT not far from the house. They make for a beautiful morning trail run."

"We've been looking for a place to return to year after year for the 4th of July weekend and we have finally found it! Not only that... we have found a place to visit year-round. Suzann and Martin were caring and meticulous hosts. The cabin was absolutely spotless on arrival and chocked full of useful items in the kitchen (all the spices, condiments, utensils and dishes we could possibly need). The bed linens were clean and in great condition and the abundance of fluffy towels was amazing. The location of the cabin was, by far, the most relaxing one we have experienced. The pool was perfect for us and because of the heat, we didn't need to heat it. Our grand-daughter got to pick raspberries, get eggs from the in-residence hens and even did a little "black-smithing" with Martin. We are looking forward to returning next 4th of July and my husband and I are considering it for a getaway for the two of us before July!"

Cozy and serene base for exploring Olympic Peninsula
"We were so happy we chose Port Angeles and "At Home-a la Maison" as our base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. We had plenty of space for ourselves and our almost 2 year old son to eat, sleep, and play. We saw a lot of the area including Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rainforest, and a day trip to Victoria, BC. There was so much more to explore, but we ran out of time!
Every afternoon and evening we returned to the home to play in the private, fenced yard. Our son loved collecting apples from the tree, playing in the rocks near the sandbox, and of course the swings. We loved the many chairs and benches to relax on while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. Port Angeles had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed visiting the Marine Life Center where we could touch starfish and sea cucumbers, and the downtown area has a fun bookstore we liked. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and we would stay here again if we visit the area."
