  • Great family vacation

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house in the Olympic Peninsula. Our host was very friendly and accessible, from the beginning of the booking process until the last day of our stay. When we couldn't figure how to get the grill started, he came right over and helped us to get it going. The house is very big, very clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked every single day. Each of the three rooms has its own bathroom and walk-in closets. Plenty of fresh towels for all the rooms, extra clean sheets for the spare beds. The bathrooms even had a little basket with spare toiletries like shaving cream and toothpaste -- they really thought of everything! The location was perfect for us, since it was close to almost everything we wanted to do and visit, super easy to get to from the highway, and extra bonus is that it is right next to a tiny air strip! Our 3yo was beside himself watching the little planes taking off and landing from the living room window. It really exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

  • Amazing get-away

"My family and our friends, all with kids, spent 3 glorious nights here. From the amazing woodwork to the Asian inspired decor, this bungalow exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. Just minutes away was a paved trail for walking and an airport strip. The kids loved this! It felt we were miles away from home and had entered a slower pace of life. If they ever sell this place, I want to be first on the list to buy it."

  • The Best VRBO EVER...

"This house is absolutely amazing. We have traveled a great deal and typically use VRBOS for many reasons... Primarily the space and location, but The Love Nest exceeded our expectations. This house is decorated so tastefully; the kitchen is fantastic and has all of the necessities to prepare any meal you'd like (the quality of the cookware, dishes and appliances is unbelievable). The house is very clean; most comfortable beds you can imagine; softest p, biggest bath towels you can imagine. The location is on Place Road and is just breathtaking. You have a beautiful private garden, with a hot tub and a great little garden. The book and movie collection is very extensive. Unfortunately, we had so many things to do in the area that we did not get to relax and enjoy the property as we had hoped. I do hope we are able to visit again. Lyndee and Allen are gracious and accommodating. You will not regret booking this home. Enjoy yourself!! The Stouts from NC"

  • great beach access

"wonderful location, simple accommodation that could use some updated furniture to make the place feel more "clean", but if you're not picky then it will be just fine. I'm not so it's fine but germ conscious folks may shy from the older couch/chair and such. great for families and pets. big yard for the dog to run and families to play in. we played frisbee and it was more than enough room! groomed grass and yard which was great. beach access couldn't be better. we never turned on the tv, so i'm not sure of cable and such. There is one private bedroom, the rest of the beds are upstairs in the loft, with a screen that you can position to make it semi closed off. It worked for us just fine, but for those that want more privacy this may not be the place for you. One small bathroom, so keep that in mind if you have a large group that like long bathroom times. my only complaint but a very major one for those wanting a relaxing and comfortable time away, is please please please replace the mattresses. all of the beds were horribly uncomfortable. If there's anywhere to add money to this place, it would be the beds. All of them. Otherwise this is close to the perfect getaway house. I really want this house to become my annual birthday weekend house, so owners, please contact me if you end up replacing the beds! I am very serious and would love to know so that I can make this place my go-to stay! thank you for everything else being great"
