  • fly fishing-turkey dinner eating-campfire singing heaven

"Three families of 50 to 70-something folks landed here with fly rods (the gents!) and books and fixin's for a turkey dinner! Oh yes, some Rye Whiskey, a little champagne and high hopes... and we were NOT disappointed. The cabin is clean and comfortable, and the water access for fly fishing Cutties, Nooks and Silvers was private and lovely. We have already re-booked for next year, same time! Plan to eat in, however, as the restaurant choices nearby were slim and disappointing. Who cares...-it's all about home cooking!! Loved the outdoor fire pit!"

  • Perfect

"The house was perfect. It had plenty of space for 8 guys trying to catch a fish or two. Will definitely make a return visit."

  • Excellent stay

"The owner is great. There were no issues booking the place or finding it and the directions were superb. The house was great. We loved the fireplace and the selection of board games and books. The welcome basket was very nice too. The sound of the river in the morning was very pleasing and the patio was a nice place to have a cup of coffee."

  • Great Place in Forks

"We stayed in the larger side of the Wood Street Guest House. It has a family room, dinning area, fully equipped kitchen (but no microwave), office room, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and a futon couch bed, TV with satellite, games, and a few dvds. The other bedroom has a queen bed and dresser. We were pleased to find a washer/dryer combination in this unit which was an added plus for our vacation. As for the house - we had a very comfortable stay. We have a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. We all slept wonderfully. We were spoiled by the gourmet kitchen and enjoyed cooking. As said before we were on a 2 week trip, so the washer dryer combo was a plus for us when we arrived so we wouldn't waste a day of our trip at the laundromat. We could put the kids to bed and chat in the family room. The kids had yard space to play and wear off their energy. We had access to the internet which was great to help us plan our adventures, check the weather, etc. We stayed in Forks for 5 days. We were able to see the sights in Forks (for our 13 year old daughter the "Twilight" fan), La Push and Rialto Beaches, Hoh Rainforest (Hall of Mosses & other hiking), Kalaloch Beaches, Lake Crescent & Marymere Falls, and Port Angeles. At this location we were able to hit the beaches, hike, sight see, enjoy Olympic National Park, etc. It's a great location. The owners Justin & Dylan are nice, and were available. A big thank you to them for a wonderful stay!"

Forks Lodging Provides the Beauty of Nature

The natural beauty of the area and all of the things to explore on the Olympic Peninsula can make your trip into a great one, and Forks lodging gives you plenty of places to stay. It will feel just like home when you settle into one of the Forks cabins that are available. There are great amenities to choose from, so be sure to ask if you have something specific that's important to you. There are so many Olympic Peninsula vacation rentals available that you'll have an excellent chance of finding the things you want - all the time surrounded by natural beauty and wilderness.

What to See Near Forks Cabins

The Forks Timber Museum is worth a look while you're in the area. The Pacific Northwest has been a big timber area for a very long time, and a lot of the towns that are there today came about because of timber. The history of the area is significant and important. There is also the Indian Village of La Push to see, as well as the Hurricane Ridge Visitor's Center in Olympic National Park. None of those great sites are far from the Forks cabins, so you can go see them for the day and then settle in for the night at the Forks lodging of your choice.

Don't Forget the Great Restaurants While You're There

Seafood restaurants are among the most popular, but there are also other choices. While you're exploring the Olympic Peninsula, be sure to try out South North Gardens and Forks Coffee Shop, as well as Pacific Pizza. You'll find so many selections near your Forks lodging that even the pickiest eaters will have a lot of choices.
