  • We had a fantastic experience at The Bend!

"What a treat it was to stay at The Bend in Union, WA. We had some fairly high expectations based on the website, which were all surpassed! Our family of 9 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the incredible scenery. The house is gorgeous, and had all of the top class amenities and and kitchen items to make this a really special getaway. Bonnie the owner was a great help in arranging our visit. She even arranged for us to have perfect weather while there. We found most of our time was spent on the incredible deck, looking over the canal and off to the mountains. Sunsets are incredible, and then later more stars in the sky than most have ever seen. Union offers a small quiet life, with a couple of nice restaurants, a general store with the best ice cream in the West, along with beautiful hiking trails and activities in the water. We will definitely go back and spend our time at The Bend. Thanks Bonnie!"

  • Relaxing Weekend!!

"My family of six stayed for a fun & relaxed weekend. John & Cindy made me feel like a family member visiting from out of town. It is clear that they are happy to SHARE their home. This is a wonderful family home with great waterfront. We kayaked & went swimming. Two of the three bedrooms are huge.....lots of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with large bowls & serving platters. Can't wait to return!!"

  • Exceeded expectations!!

"Overall this rental exceeded our expectations! Peggy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The house literally has everything. To start, the "yellow book" is loaded with maps and ideas of things to do around the lake. The kitchen has everything you could ever possibly need. The bathroom is stocked and ready for your use with towels, toilet paper, small travel size everythings and a night light! The washer and dryer are front loaders, clean and ready to use. The beds are comforable with nice clean bedding. Cable TV...A fire pit...roasting sticks...BBQ...Wi-Fi...golf clubs AND what we were so grateful for, the LCMC pass (parking pass needed to park at all of the lake access and boat launch lots). You are only 5 minutes to Lake Kokenee boat launch and about 8 minutes to the Lake Cushman boat launch. That pass alone saved us $30 and the hassel of purchasing it. I have already recommeded this house to family and friends and we are hoping to return later this summer. This place really is a gem!!!"

  • Weekend Get Away

"Perfect location, hiking, Scuba diving, wine tasting, and Bees knees! The house had everything you could want--marine wildlife, free internet, TV, comfortable furniture, nice beds, lots of towels. The only thing we had trouble with was getting the gas fireplace to start, we tried following the directions."
