  • GREAT waterfront location!

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights over Labor Day weekend, while in town for a wedding at Alderbrook. The house is set back a little from the main road, which is perfect. There's a great grassy front yard, lots of parking out front, and a GREAT back deck - right along the water! There's plenty of green grass in the back that leads right to the water. The weather wasn't cooperating, but we still spent every dry moment out in that yard. The house itself is in great shape, and fabulously maintained by the owners. We're already planning to come back next year - this time we'll bring the dog!"

  • Exceeded expectations!!

"Overall this rental exceeded our expectations! Peggy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The house literally has everything. To start, the "yellow book" is loaded with maps and ideas of things to do around the lake. The kitchen has everything you could ever possibly need. The bathroom is stocked and ready for your use with towels, toilet paper, small travel size everythings and a night light! The washer and dryer are front loaders, clean and ready to use. The beds are comforable with nice clean bedding. Cable TV...A fire pit...roasting sticks...BBQ...Wi-Fi...golf clubs AND what we were so grateful for, the LCMC pass (parking pass needed to park at all of the lake access and boat launch lots). You are only 5 minutes to Lake Kokenee boat launch and about 8 minutes to the Lake Cushman boat launch. That pass alone saved us $30 and the hassel of purchasing it. I have already recommeded this house to family and friends and we are hoping to return later this summer. This place really is a gem!!!"

  • Much Needed Getaway

"My best friends and I came here on the perfect Seattle summer weekend! Before I start, I would have to thank Bill for his great customer service. He was ALWAYS available to answer any questions we had prior to the trip. He provides good instructions on how to get to the cabin and the guidelines we should follow (no biggie). You're the best, Bill! The floor-to-ceiling glass wall/sliding door to the patio was so pleasant to wake up to. Imagine waking up to sun in your face and that magnificent view!!! I woke up just to watch the sunrise. On top of the view, the two kayaks that came with cabin was fun to use (single rider kayaks). What attracted me to this cabin was the oysters. I was SO satisfied with how much there was!!! I suggest everyone bring water shoes as the beach is rocky with oyster shells around. Would definitely come back here!"

  • perfect getaway

"What an adorable little cabin, totally away from it all! We had a fabulous weekend with our son, celebrating one of our last adventures as a family of 3 before his little brother joins us. The cabin was clean, well decorated and pretty much just perfect. It did take us a while to figure out that the VCR has to be on in order for the DVD player to work. :) We will definitely be back!"
