  • glorious view

"We have a family of 6, 2 teen girls, 2 adults and 2 dogs. This home accommodated us well. Plenty of space inside and out. The beach is truly a short walk away. The view is unparalleled. Guests will want to bring binoculars or a telescope to get close up sights on the wildlife and ships. We had a bald eagle in the tree one morning."

  • Great getaway!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was well prepared, more than what we had expected. Perfect spot near the beach. Kids loved the hot tub. House was big enough for kids and parents to have separate quiet time. We will definitely be back!!!"

  • Will stay here again.

"I would stay as long as you can. There are so many things to do in this area. The pictures of this rental do not give it justice, it's much better."

  • Great beach cottage and amazing time at the beach!

"Our family stayed at the Sand Bucket Cottage for spring break and lucked into some amazing weather! We had planned on rainy days but instead enjoyed sunshine, the beach and even outdoor dining! We particularly enjoyed the kid-friendly extras, fire pit and outdoor patio/deck. Also ventured the quick 5 minute drive to Seabrook to eat outside and watch the sunset. We would stay here again. Heres a few pros and cons as a family with young kids. Pros - easy key access to property for check in/out. Owners kindly let us check in early since cottage was empty a few days before. Wifi/Roku/Netflix worked without a glitch. Very well stocked with plenty of extra towels, nice quality linens (Pottery Barn), kitchen supplies (excellent stock of dishes, kids dishes, pots/pans, and small appliances). Love the fireplace which heats the whole space. Family room open to the kitchen. Good useful storage like hooks everywhere for coats, clothes, bags or whatever. Books, games, movies, toys. Appreciated the kids bedrail (my kids are too old but noticed a pack'n'play and high chair). Washer/dryer. Fire pit, yard, cushioned patio set. Short walk to beach, easy street parking or state park (seasonal pass required) for closer access. Cons - wear and tear apparent but does not effect stay or cleanliness (rusty garbage can and light fixtures from moisutre, worn sofa fabrics and cushions, etc). Small dogs are allowed and even though we are not pet owners that is not a deterrent for us. The problem we ran into is dog poop all over the yard. When we arrived one of my kids literally stepped out of the car into a pile of dog poop. We had to hopscotch between the car and front door. I had to go around the yard picking up poop (YUCK!) so my kids could play in the yard and we could walk back to the fire pit without stepping in more. I'm sure it's the renters responsibilities to clean up after their pet but it would be nice if the yard was checked before the next renters. One other small complaint when we first arrived the house must have been sprayed with some type of room freshener (gingerbread scent or something like that). The scent was so overwhelming we had to open every door and window to air the house out. We searched high and low for a plug-in but never found one so assumed it was a spray. Luckily it was a nice day and sat on the deck waiting for the smell to go away but it took a few hours."
