"We enjoyed this place it was neat, clean and well stocked. The owners even provided bottled water, shampoo and extra odds and ends. They also provided paddle boards, kayaks and beach towels. The area is beautiful and there are great places to hike close by. My only complaints are that the cabin is very far removed from things to see and do like Seattle, Mt. Hood, Baker and St. Helens. Also there were very few places to dine out and what was available wasn't particularly good. If you choose this place the grocery is close as is a great little coffee shop across from the Shell Gas Station. The owners were friendly and easy to work with, if I were to return to the area I would choose this place again. I've rented from VRBO for over 12 years and do recommend this sweet cabin for all age groups."

"This home was perfect for our weekend getaway. The home was spotless and the location - PERFECT! We walked to the local market, coffee, and to the beach. You can't get any better than that! The beds were comfortable, and we were even surprised that there is a baby-changing table in the bunk room. :) Just an added special touch that made traveling with an infant easier.
We also made the 20-minute drive to Cape Disappointment, what a beautiful hike with forest, cliffs, lighthouse, beach, and jetty. I hope to come back to this corner of Washington some day and I will definitely stay at this house again and recommend it to everyone else!"

"This is our second year staying at this home. Cute, cozy...very nicely decorated and appointed. Aberdeen is our home town, so we come to visit relatives and for the past two years, to attend high school reunions. I would highly recommend it."

"This was our first visit to the Olympic Peninsula and we found so many aspects of it to be enchanting; not the least of which is the Hideaway Hut. The views from the kitchen and bedroom of the Straits of Jaun de Fuca are spectacular and better than the pictures on VRBO showed. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We cooked our evening meals there every night and found good markets in Sequim and Port Angeles (each about 15 min away). A great surprise was the trail to the almost private beach, accessed through a locked gate via a forest trail. The Hideaway Hut makes a great base for exploring all of the diverse ecosystems of the upper 1/2 of the National Park and a welcoming retreat after long and happy day hikes. At the cottage we were excited to see Black Tail Deer and Bald Eagles. We hope to return soon."
