  • Wonderful, peaceful place.

"We stayed here for our 2-year anniversary. It was really just perfect. The cabin was very clean and tidy, well-stocked, had more than you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the area but just staying in the cabin while it rained outside and enjoying the fireplace and boardgames was just the relaxing weekend we needed! Thanks again to the owners for sharing their lovely cabin! We will definitely be back!"

  • The BEST vacation ever!

"My husband and I are world travellers and we have also taken our young children (6 and 8) on many trips throughout the country. My 6 year old wrote me a letter the last day of our trip and stated that this was the best trip of her entire life and I would have to agree! It was something straight out of a Disney movie. We showed up all hooked to our electronics yet left hooked to each other! There is no cell or internet service in or near the cabin. We couldn't get service unless in the town of Hoodsport. It was great :) We had many hikes planned for our trip but ended up spending the entire time in the cabin or at the lake. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. The 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. The grill worked great as well as all of the appliances. we enjoyed playing the boardgames in the cabin as well as using the many toys! The hammock and swing were very relaxing at the end of the day. There are also 2 bikes if you're feeling up to it. We practically had the private lake to ourselves. It was so peaceful and quiet. Be sure to go to Hoodsport and have some ice cream....we went every day :) Thanks so much for allowing us to use your cabin. I have already started referring you to my friends! We'll definitely be back for more great times!"

  • Exceeded expectations!!

"Overall this rental exceeded our expectations! Peggy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The house literally has everything. To start, the "yellow book" is loaded with maps and ideas of things to do around the lake. The kitchen has everything you could ever possibly need. The bathroom is stocked and ready for your use with towels, toilet paper, small travel size everythings and a night light! The washer and dryer are front loaders, clean and ready to use. The beds are comforable with nice clean bedding. Cable TV...A fire pit...roasting sticks...BBQ...Wi-Fi...golf clubs AND what we were so grateful for, the LCMC pass (parking pass needed to park at all of the lake access and boat launch lots). You are only 5 minutes to Lake Kokenee boat launch and about 8 minutes to the Lake Cushman boat launch. That pass alone saved us $30 and the hassel of purchasing it. I have already recommeded this house to family and friends and we are hoping to return later this summer. This place really is a gem!!!"

  • Six days at Eagle's Nest on Lake Cushman

"We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. Staying in a place right on the water adds so much more fun. We had the use of the two kayaks and the paddle boat. The adults and kids alike spent a lot of time paddling around and swimming. The house worked very well for our group. It comfortably sleeps eight with two great bathrooms. The top of the line washer and dryer and kitchen appliances were a great bonus. We made good use of the outdoor grill and the fire pit. A hike through the Staircase area is a lot of fun. And it is very close to the house. The seafood market in Hamma Hamma, which is about 15 miles north of Hoodsport, is a great place to get oysters and fresh and smoked salmon. If you have a fishing license (pricey for non residents) free for kids, you can easily pick oysters from the Hood Canal at low tide. The Shell gas station in Hoodsport and seafood place, can fill you in on the rebulations. Kimberly was very responsive to any questions that came up. Thanks, Kimberly."
