  • Cozy and comfortable

"We took our 3 kids for a 5 day stay at this quaint cabin. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The beds are all comfortable. The lake is beautiful. It is a great chance to get away from city life and enjoy some peace and quiet. Loved our time away. Would definitely return to this cabin again."

  • Wonderful, peaceful place.

"We stayed here for our 2-year anniversary. It was really just perfect. The cabin was very clean and tidy, well-stocked, had more than you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the area but just staying in the cabin while it rained outside and enjoying the fireplace and boardgames was just the relaxing weekend we needed! Thanks again to the owners for sharing their lovely cabin! We will definitely be back!"

  • Best Vacation Experience

"This cabin was everything we dreamed of and so much more. The location was perfect for a little get away that my boyfriend and I needed. The cabin was surrounded by the beautiful woods of the Olympic national park and minutes away from the crystal clear lake cushman. I have never experienced anything quite like this and cannot wait to go back for more! Peggy and Paul provided us with everything we needed and they were super nice about everything! They answered all my questions in a timely manner and provided great customer service. I was really satisfied with everything. Their cabin was clean, organized, and gave us a warm cozy feeling. I absolutely loved the place! The winding staircase to the loft was really cool and the loft gave us a fantastic view out into the woods. I also loved all the moose decor, the cabin really stands up to its name. On the days it poured outside we still managed to have a great time indoors. We also took the 5 minute walk to lake cushman every day, hiked up mt ellinor which is 30 minutes away, explored the town of hoodsport, and had breakfast at the girls cafe which was right down lake cushman road near the entrance. The area has so many fun things to do, it seemed like there wasn't enough time to do it all! My boyfriend and I plan to come back with some friends this summer so we can enjoy the moose house once again and explore the area even more! I have already recommended this place to all my friends and to anyone that wants a relaxing vacation in the woods. Thank you Peggy and Paul for everything. We really appreciate you sharing your beautiful home with us!!"

  • Six days at Eagle's Nest on Lake Cushman

"We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. Staying in a place right on the water adds so much more fun. We had the use of the two kayaks and the paddle boat. The adults and kids alike spent a lot of time paddling around and swimming. The house worked very well for our group. It comfortably sleeps eight with two great bathrooms. The top of the line washer and dryer and kitchen appliances were a great bonus. We made good use of the outdoor grill and the fire pit. A hike through the Staircase area is a lot of fun. And it is very close to the house. The seafood market in Hamma Hamma, which is about 15 miles north of Hoodsport, is a great place to get oysters and fresh and smoked salmon. If you have a fishing license (pricey for non residents) free for kids, you can easily pick oysters from the Hood Canal at low tide. The Shell gas station in Hoodsport and seafood place, can fill you in on the rebulations. Kimberly was very responsive to any questions that came up. Thanks, Kimberly."
