  • Much Needed Getaway

"My best friends and I came here on the perfect Seattle summer weekend! Before I start, I would have to thank Bill for his great customer service. He was ALWAYS available to answer any questions we had prior to the trip. He provides good instructions on how to get to the cabin and the guidelines we should follow (no biggie). You're the best, Bill! The floor-to-ceiling glass wall/sliding door to the patio was so pleasant to wake up to. Imagine waking up to sun in your face and that magnificent view!!! I woke up just to watch the sunrise. On top of the view, the two kayaks that came with cabin was fun to use (single rider kayaks). What attracted me to this cabin was the oysters. I was SO satisfied with how much there was!!! I suggest everyone bring water shoes as the beach is rocky with oyster shells around. Would definitely come back here!"

  • Pleasantly Surprised!

"My large extended family stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a couple of birthdays and we were pleasantly surprised at how big the house actually is! The pictures don't do it justice. Huge kitchen with all the items you need to cook a big meal and big enough to have 5 or 6 people help. Large dining table and stools for the counter to accommodate our large family. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were very nice. We enjoyed the large deck and backyard with the hot tub. Our group definitely took advantage of the hot tub! We had family stop in for dinner one night and with the additional people in the house, we still had plenty of room for the kids to run around. The house can definitely accommodate more than 10 people because there's tons of room in the living room/dining room area. Lots of wildlife in the area. We had deer visit us in the backyard in the late evening/early morning hours both nights. There are deer roaming around the houses up and down the street. Damon Point is just at the end of the street from the house. It's a nice beach area that's not as busy as the main beach in Ocean Shores. The water isn't as rough since it's not directly on the ocean. But it's a great place to look for seashells and walk along the beach with driftwood. We were a little disappointed we weren't able to rent the boat offered by the owner but he's in the process of purchasing a new one so we understand. It would've been a nice thing to have at the house. We could've rented a boat across the water but we didn't have enough time to do that. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the house and would definitely recommend it to our friends! Hopefully we can rent it again in the future! Thanks!!!"

  • Great views!

"This house has everything you will need for a great beach stay. It is very private and the views are phenomenal! Sitting in the living room and master bedroom you can't help be at peace as you gaze out at the ocean. And you are steps from the beach! I really appreciated that there were kids toys and movies and every kitchen item you could need. Having a washer/dryer was terrific as well as the hose sprayer to get sand off the clothes before entering the house. The only cons i can think of are: 1- the water smelled badly like sulfur- however there is a Brita in the fridge which was great to have. 2- The beds in the non-master were not super comfy. But overall we would go back! Thanks again for a great stay!"
