  • Family reunion

"If u are planning big family reunion, this is the place to have it. We had a big family reunion in August and loved this place. I counted 66 attendees. The older generation slept in the house. The younger generation pitched tents in the humongous back yard. We used the deck as our stage for the talent show. Sack races, volley ball games against the in laws took place @ the picnic area. There was a rope swing for the kids. Hiking is a must! There are two creek to follow and the views are amazing. The kids had a good time splashing around and at each other. There is even a small fall that it's beauty is worth a picture for your wall photo on your phone. For the big dinner, nothing is better than a big clam bake gathered from the beach. Add the oysters and mussels too. The beach is a 5 minute walk. So you can relax, the kids are safe in the yard. There is a big fire pit in the yard great place to wind down with a glass of wine/beer or s'more for the kids. The house is huge and has everything you need, including a pacman arcade game and a air hockey table. ( the kids were exhausted by the end of the day) We were loud. We were happy. We would do it again."

  • Great property in a perfect location

"Happy Valley is a clean, comfortable, well-maintained and spacious house within walking distance to almost everything in Port Townsend. With so many great farmer's markets, we love to cook when staying in PT. Happy Valley had the perfect kitchen for cooking as well as a great gas grill on the back deck. The bedrooms were spacious. The upstairs bedroom with the small balcony was great for evening star gazing. We had perfect weather in September, but loved using the "fireplace" on the chilly mornings. Having laundry on site was a big plus! You are within easy walking distance to Uptown with the restaurants, coffee shops and fantastic farmer's market. We walked Downtown to music festivals, craft shows and the Wooden Boat Festival. Like outdoor theater? It's a short walk to Chetzemoka Park and their summer theater series. You can even walk to Ft. Worden! We walked to happy hour at The Pour House (our new favorite spot) and Port Townsend Brewing, but most people would probably drive. The owner is very helpful and provides a book with restaurant menus and local activities. For example, visit local wineries and cideries like FinnRiver, AlpenFire, Eaglemount and FairWinds. Each tasting room offers something unique and it's a great way to spend an afternoon. Happy Valley is the perfect home away from home in Port Townsend. We can't wait to return!"

  • Wonderful Sisters vacation

"My sisters and I stayed here for 4 nights. We wanted privacy, a view, access to a beach, room to cook together and space enough for jigsaw puzzles and mahjong. This place had it all. The kitchen was nicely stocked (except for the knives... they were pretty bad. you might want to bring your own), the bedroom were sparsely decorated but comfortable, the common areas were perfect for lounging around. The sun porch is great for slurping coffee in the morning. We saw beautiful sunsets and deer came through the yard one night. Beach combing was great. Lots of tumbled beach glass and cool shells. We'll go back. One thing to note, Sea View and Long Beach are a pretty long drive from the house. It's a beautiful drive, and we stopped a wildlife preserve on the way. But I recommend packing in everything you need or leaving lots of time to get into town."

  • Amazingly beautiful house

"First impression of the property doesn't look appealing because of the trees and bushes but it's natural in the Ocean Shores area. But the moment you step your feet inside the house you'll be amaze on the beauty of the modern design. The view is breath taking where you can hear the sound of the ocean, deer walking in the property & birds of different kinds seems like singing to you. Very quiet neighborhood so you can have your needed rest. The house is well maintained. The owner is very friendly and always ready to assist you with any concern regarding the house. My whole family enjoyed our stay."
