  • Back Again!

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great spot. To fully enjoy your stay, be sure to rent the guest house too! We had rented the house and the guest house last year thus had free access to the fire pit (located next to the guest house). If you have challenges with stairs, make certain you can easily tolerate 18 steps to the second floor. The garage is a perfect playroom for pool and children esp on a stormy day. We will be back next yr too."

  • Decent and affordable.

"The area around the Cape Disappointment State Park is beautiful to visit. The park at the north end of the peninsula has some nice trails that are easy to walk. I also liked the small town shopping area and the paved bike trail that runs along several miles of the beachfront. Overall a really lovely area that I will want to visit again! Inside of the house was what some folks might call "shabby chic". The furnishings were plain but serviceable. The kitchen, bathroom and bedding were clean. Enough cookware to make a basic meal. There was a boombox and wireless Internet, plus plenty of old books and boardgames. A lamp in the living room wasn't working, even with a new bulb. There were also some burnt-out bulbs in the kitchen. I took all the floor mats outside for a good shake as they were sandy. I don't think they had been cleaned for a while. I found the yard in serious need of some clean-up. The back area behind the wood shed needs to be visited by a weed whacker and a pair of gardening shears. I also found that the the outside of the windows were cobwebbed, so on my first days I walked around the house with a broom and swept away the dust and webs from the windows! For a couple, a small family, or someone with a dog, it is an ideal vacation getaway. The location is only a block from a supermarket and a few restaurants. The beach is about a 1/2 mile walk down the road. Plenty of parks and trails to explore. The only real negative is that this property is starting to get a bit run-down, even for the price. I think the owners should think about taking a couple of weeks to do some serious yard work, fix the front porch, do some paint both inside and out, etc. It's such a pretty and ideal cottage, I hate to see it not in tip-top shape."

  • Family fun for all ages!!

"We stayed at Sea Peace with two other families. There were 5 kids (6,6,5,3,3) and 4 adults. There is so much to do in the area, we were only in the unit for the occasional meal, potty break and bedtime. The paved bike trail that runs along the beach was probably the favorite attraction. The kids also loved the putt putt golf just across the street, the arcade one block away and of course the beach itself. Be warned, the beach in that area is too dangerous for swimming as the undertow is very strong, but we kept the kids close and they enjoyed just wading out into the waves and of course building sandcastles. The unit itself is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. The prop mgmt company was friendly and easy to deal with. All in all, it was an amazing trip and the kids are already asking if we'll be staying there again next year!!"

Long Beach Travel Tips

Explore the Washington Coast from Long Beach Beach Homes

The city of Long Beach in the southwest part of Washington State has the distinction of being the longest natural beach in the United States with an astounding 28 miles of sandy beach. This is a majestic and undeveloped beach, just as beautiful in the wintertime as it is the summer months. As you can imagine, Long Beach is a great place to vacation. And Long Beach condos provide the right accommodations for your stay.

Long Beach Allure

The Long Beach Peninsula has been named one of America's Favorite Beach Towns. Long Beach is rarely crowded, even in the busier summer months. The area has plenty to offer tourists: fresh seafood, fun shopping experiences, an expansive beach, a national park, two historic lighthouses, restaurants, museums, hiking, horseback riding, and Long Beach condos. Easily accessible from Long Beach beach homes, you'll find Cape Disappointment State Park and Discovery Trail, a 16-mile hiking trail. On a clear day, you can see Mount Olympus in the distance. For kite enthusiasts, Long Beach hosts an annual international kite festival and the World Kite Museum. You can try clam digging, fishing, and more. Nearby cities and towns include Naselle, Ocean Park, and Seaview.

Outdoor Activities for Summer or Winter

Washington State is a fantastic place to visit any time of the year; outdoor activity is a popular pastime from Southwest Washington vacation rentals. With so much natural beauty everywhere you look, you'll want to see it from Long Beach beach homes. The Cascade Mountain range is a great place to start. The North Cascades feature Mount Baker, the North Cascades National Park, wilderness areas, and recreational areas. The Central Cascades feature ideal areas for hiking, climbing, and backpacking. Another wildly popular area is the South Cascades featuring Mount Adams, Mount Rainier, and Mount St. Helens — all snow-capped volcanoes.
