  • Beautiful home in beautiful setting!

"We absolutely loved the house, location and the whole area! The weather was great for us- we had just enough sunshine to enjoy the swings, hammock and beach at all times of day. We even saw deer in the yard and had a lovely beach fire. What a great place! The kids loved it too and we all want to come back! The house was very "user-friendly." It had everything we needed for a nice weekend stay. Thanks to the owner for getting the deposit back so quickly!"

  • “This is an elegant, spacious cottage with a spectacular location!”

"The best feature is its location, situated in the dunes, with a short walk to either the beach or the center of Long Beach town. There are stunning views of the dunes and ocean all along the diningroom/livingroom area. We sat outside on the balcony in the evening to watch the stars and in the morning to drink coffee and listen to the wind and the surf and to watch the birds. Even though it was July, weather was a little cool so we lit the fireplace one night. It was a very relaxing time! Management had recommended several good restaurants all along the peninsula. Wi-Fi was a little spotty, but available. Door to the balcony was little tricky to open and close, but not a problem at all."

  • great beach access

"wonderful location, simple accommodation that could use some updated furniture to make the place feel more "clean", but if you're not picky then it will be just fine. I'm not so it's fine but germ conscious folks may shy from the older couch/chair and such. great for families and pets. big yard for the dog to run and families to play in. we played frisbee and it was more than enough room! groomed grass and yard which was great. beach access couldn't be better. we never turned on the tv, so i'm not sure of cable and such. There is one private bedroom, the rest of the beds are upstairs in the loft, with a screen that you can position to make it semi closed off. It worked for us just fine, but for those that want more privacy this may not be the place for you. One small bathroom, so keep that in mind if you have a large group that like long bathroom times. my only complaint but a very major one for those wanting a relaxing and comfortable time away, is please please please replace the mattresses. all of the beds were horribly uncomfortable. If there's anywhere to add money to this place, it would be the beds. All of them. Otherwise this is close to the perfect getaway house. I really want this house to become my annual birthday weekend house, so owners, please contact me if you end up replacing the beds! I am very serious and would love to know so that I can make this place my go-to stay! thank you for everything else being great"

  • Cute condo

"We stayed for two nights this past weekend. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still enjoyed the visit to this sleepy town. Pluses: A short walk to the beach, wi fi, gorgeous view, short walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a lot of kitchen appliances. Minuses: Very squeaky 2nd floor subfloor, needs better skillets/pans in kitchen, additional spatulas, fan in bedroom was broken, no soaps or toiletries, no hairdryer. We ended up purchasing fans as it was very warm at night and a hairdryer (which we left there for the next guests). Town is very sleepy, most places close early even on the weekend."
