"We stayed for two nights this past weekend. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still enjoyed the visit to this sleepy town. Pluses: A short walk to the beach, wi fi, gorgeous view, short walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a lot of kitchen appliances. Minuses: Very squeaky 2nd floor subfloor, needs better skillets/pans in kitchen, additional spatulas, fan in bedroom was broken, no soaps or toiletries, no hairdryer. We ended up purchasing fans as it was very warm at night and a hairdryer (which we left there for the next guests). Town is very sleepy, most places close early even on the weekend."Guest: Dusty Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 30, 2014View listing
"We went to Heron Hollow for our annual girls' getaway. There were nine of us so we used the entire house. The setting is amazing and the weather was perfect! Everything was provided and we all loved the home, especially being able to sit out on the deck with a view of the ocean and listening to all the wonderful sounds. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to have privacy but be just a short distance from all amenities. We will definitely consider returning on one of our next getaways!"Guest: Kathi Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 15, 2014View listing
"We have stayed at Elmo's place many times and we love a) how clean and tidy everything is b) lovely open private vista like you own the whole beach, never see any neighbors c) close enough to Long Beach for activities but far enough to be be peaceful and d) a great deal. I think they could charge more for this place but they are fair people and are happy to pass along and share their good fortune."Guest: ReeveB Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
"We stayed at Sea Peace with two other families. There were 5 kids (6,6,5,3,3) and 4 adults. There is so much to do in the area, we were only in the unit for the occasional meal, potty break and bedtime. The paved bike trail that runs along the beach was probably the favorite attraction. The kids also loved the putt putt golf just across the street, the arcade one block away and of course the beach itself. Be warned, the beach in that area is too dangerous for swimming as the undertow is very strong, but we kept the kids close and they enjoyed just wading out into the waves and of course building sandcastles. The unit itself is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. The prop mgmt company was friendly and easy to deal with. All in all, it was an amazing trip and the kids are already asking if we'll be staying there again next year!!"Guest: Zoe and family Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 5, 2014View listing
