The undiscovered gem of Point Grenville offers a wide sandy beach of volcanic sand and some unusual seastack scenery. Taholah is a magnificent beach just a short drive from Ocean Shores and requires a family beach pass for access. There is a massive spruce forest running down to the mouth of the Quinault river where huge spruce driftwood gathers in piles. In contrast to the rural beauty, Quinault Beach Resort has a vibrant casino and many excellent bars and restaurants.
