  • So relaxing!

"We had stayed in two nice hotels before arriving at this house, but when we arrived here it was like coming home! The two of us had so much space to relax and take in the beautiful view from the front windows! Having access to a washer and dryer was especially helpful after 5 days of traveling. We were far enough away from downtown so we didn't hear traffic noise, but it was easy to get to the ferry to Victoria. We absolutely LOVED that we could walk across the street to INCREDIBLY beautiful hiking trails. We were very tempted to contact the owner to see if we could stay one more day! I only have two suggestions: remove some of the decorations so renters have more room to set down their items and replace the divider in the master bathroom with a door for more privacy."

  • Clean and Spacious

"As others have said, the property is much more inviting than the pictures suggest. The outdoor patio has great water view as does the living room and upstairs bedroom. The house was very clean and well maintained and Marie was very responsive. It is a very short drive from the center of town. We got fresh fish from the local coop and it was some of the best of our trip. Highly recommended."

  • Very Nice

"Really nice place! Beautiful kitchen and den set-up, really comfortable beds (except full size), nicely decorated, close to beaches and mountains. We really enjoyed our stay. Very few negatives: little or no soundproofing, you can hear everything!! Also, no fans to mitigate the noise (I'm a huge fan sleeper). If noise is a concern, bring a fan. The view isn't fantastic, but the isolation is really nice. We'd definitely stay again."
