"The moment we drove up we were in love. We were greeted by several deer, Suzann, and fresh baked cookies! The house was so clean and inviting, with a view that will take your breath away. The entire home is stocked with everything you need for cooking, sleeping, bathroom needs, entertainment, and local fun. We enjoyed the pond, exploring the property, and soaking in the hot tub after long days of hiking. The overall ambiance was relaxing, and family friendly. We would definitely recommend the Compass Rose to anyone with or without kiddos."

"Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.
We met Tom on our way out and said we'd enjoyed it all. The kitchen was very well supplied and we loved that you supplied all the washing stuff and hand soap. It really felt like a home from home.
We had a BBQ and sat in the sunshine in the lovely garden.
The house was in a very quiet area near to the 101 and we visited the Hoh Rainforest and Ruby Beach in one day. Also went twice to Hurricane Ridge as it is so lovely up there. My husband and sons played golf at Skyridge golf course near Sequim and said everyone was very friendly.
We felt really at home and wish we had longer to stay. I would really recommend this house.

"Our stay at the cabin was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the views and the animal visitors. The cabin is located within driving distance to places to hike in the mountains and along the coast. Our hosts thought of everything to make our stay wonderful!"

"We've been looking for a place to return to year after year for the 4th of July weekend and we have finally found it! Not only that... we have found a place to visit year-round. Suzann and Martin were caring and meticulous hosts. The cabin was absolutely spotless on arrival and chocked full of useful items in the kitchen (all the spices, condiments, utensils and dishes we could possibly need). The bed linens were clean and in great condition and the abundance of fluffy towels was amazing. The location of the cabin was, by far, the most relaxing one we have experienced. The pool was perfect for us and because of the heat, we didn't need to heat it. Our grand-daughter got to pick raspberries, get eggs from the in-residence hens and even did a little "black-smithing" with Martin. We are looking forward to returning next 4th of July and my husband and I are considering it for a getaway for the two of us before July!"
