  • Beautiful Cabin with lots of room

"The cabin was spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The large kitchen easily accommodated multiple cooks when we were trying to prepare dinners after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed the solitude of not having nearby neighbors and having a large deck to overflow onto. We were a group of 6 adults and found the cabin to suit us perfectly. My family is already asking about next year."

  • So relaxing!

"We had stayed in two nice hotels before arriving at this house, but when we arrived here it was like coming home! The two of us had so much space to relax and take in the beautiful view from the front windows! Having access to a washer and dryer was especially helpful after 5 days of traveling. We were far enough away from downtown so we didn't hear traffic noise, but it was easy to get to the ferry to Victoria. We absolutely LOVED that we could walk across the street to INCREDIBLY beautiful hiking trails. We were very tempted to contact the owner to see if we could stay one more day! I only have two suggestions: remove some of the decorations so renters have more room to set down their items and replace the divider in the master bathroom with a door for more privacy."

  • We'd go back.

"There is one nice bed, and a so-so sofa bed, and the sofa bed is ok for a couple of pre teens or one person-a little tight for two adults. No washing machine nor dryer, which after a few days became a little bit of a problem. Loved all the other aspects of the place, location, dock on the lake, neighbor kids (that showed up on the weekend) were a little loud during the day-but not a peep at night. About 20 minutes to Port Angels. About the same to Lake Crescent Lodge for a good meal/or picnic. Very Very Clean."

  • Wonderful home in a great location!

"We just returned from our 4 night stay and loved the charming, vintage feel of this wonderfully restored craftsman home. It was in a friendly little neighborhood with plenty of amenities we enjoyed. The kitchen was generously stocked with all the paper products, pots, pans and spices to accommodate most cooks on vacation. We ate in 2 nights and found the Safeway very convenient. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo and conditioner and body wash and plenty of towels. As a note, there is only 1 bathroom upstairs for all 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom downstairs. We were all family so it was a nonissue for us. The cool early morning and evening breezes allowed us Floridians to enjoy the cozy pot belly fireplace on 2 occasions. The owners had it perfectly supplied and ready for use. We we ambitious travelers and visited Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, Forks, Merrymore Falls, Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rain forest while there. Although we drove a lot, the weather was gorgeous and the scenery breathtaking and this home was only a few blocks from Hwy 101 to access the National Park. We highly recommend the ferry to the stunningly beautiful city of Victoria, it was very convenient to park our car for $6 and be a "foot passenger " for the day. The neighbor across the street provided us some helpful tips and trivia about the home and we appreciated his insight. We even picked a few fresh blackberries from the garden to add to our fresh peach cobbler. It was extremely convenient to use the washer and dryer with provided detergent after all the hiking and sightseeing we did! What a delight to stay at this lovely home."
