  • Adorable Port Angeles Haven

"My family stayed at this lovely home for a short, 4 day summer holiday. This was the perfect "home base" for excursions to Crescent Lake (relaxing and gorgeous), Victoria (excellent shopping and food), and Hurricane Ridge (great views). There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. We all slept very comfortably. There are many amenities: DVDs & player, cable, wi-fi, CDs and player, upper porch with table and chairs, and backyard eating space. The garden was overflowing with produce which the owner said we could use in our cooking. A well-stocked kitchen helped us reduce our eating-out, which also made the weekend more relaxing."

  • Our Perfect Vacation!

"My husband and I rented the Log Cabin for 5 nights and absolutely loved the carefully decorated and cared for home of Suzann and Martin. We felt right at home immediately. The grounds outside were beautiful with flowers blooming everywhere, the Olympic Mountains in the distance and deer grazing at both dawn and sunset. We spent most of our daylight hours hiking in the Olympic National Park - wonderful hikes that left us tired and famished. We did take the ferry to Victoria for a day - beautiful! We were able to buy fresh fish every night to grill out on the deck, as well as 2 dozen fresh oysters that we shucked and ate out on the deck. We loved the yummy cookies found by the front door when we arrived, the large industrial grill on the deck, the most comfortable bed ever, eating outside on the deck at sunset with the mountains in the distance, the privacy the property allowed, having everything we needed in the kitchen, and being able to do our laundry after each day of hiking. Thank you, Suzann and Martin, for making us feel at home. We loved it!"

  • Home Away From Home

"We had a lovely stay here during the Paint The Peninsula event in Port Angeles. Just over a week and by the end of our stay it was hard to leave. Felt like home! The house is extremely roomy and comfortable and well appointed with amenities. I especially admired the old style of this original craftsman home and the architecture. They don't make them like this anymore! Obviously someone really did a great job restoring this classic! And it was a treat to experience it. Would I rent this place again? Yes, definitely. Everything was nicely prepared and went very smoothly. And the location is extremely convenient to everything in Port Angeles. Great place for a vacation. So much to see and experience. I look forward to returning."

"We have rented this cottage from 24th May to 26th May 2014. Cottage is situated at excellent location and is beautifully designed and is cozy to accommodate our group i.e. 7 adults and 3 children. Gas grill and fire place are add-on to this cottage. Very near to Lake crescent and marrymere falls, which is a beautiful trail as well. Last but not the least, Owners are really so helpful in providing the instructions at every moment."
