"This lovely house was perfect for our family. We completely felt at home with our 4 children (ages 9, 8, 4, and 18 months.) The bedrooms were cozy, the yard and patio inviting, and the kitchen was so well stocked and organized that I reorganized mine when we got home! The location was ideal for our day trips into Olympic National Park and it was so nice to come "home" each night. We can't overstate how much we enjoyed our week here. The owner was very pleasant and helpful as well. We would highly recommend this rental."

"We stayed here for 6 nights in early August. The home and location are excellent! We had a great time boating and swimming at the lake. There's a really nice dock with a diving board, which was a hit with our 3 kids. The house is very comfortable and has everything thing you'll need including an excellent movie collection. The location is well positioned for day trips...we visited Sequim, the Dungeness Spit, the Olympic Game Farm, the Hoh Rain Forest and Hurricane Ridge.
Julie (the owner) was very easy to get a hold of and was nice to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property."

"We had all information and were prepared a few days prior to arriving and the home was very clean and inviting upon arrival. The view was amazing and neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The home was stocked with extras and the beds/couches/chairs were comfortable. Location was great, it was easy to get from place to place. We would definitely stay here again!"

Great choice for proximity to Olympic National Park
"Our family truly enjoyed our stay as we visited ONP each day that we were there. The house is comfortable and clean, with quaint décor with some aspects like the brass bed reminiscent of an Irish B-&-B, and the views out over Port Angeles and the Strait of Juan de Fuca from the living room were quite engaging. We appreciated the comfortable beds and nice linens and towels. We had great fun picking wild berries, visiting the Farmers Market on Thursday afternoon in Port Angeles for organic local produce, and also watching our nightly visitor, a doe who came to eat the fallen apples from the apple tree, and one night even brought her two fawns along!
Like another commenter, we concur that there were too many small personal items on counters, shelves and tables that contributed to a sense of clutter while taking up space that might be useful to renters- and I would hate to see something of personal value broken due to its being in the way. We resolved our WiFi issue by ascertaining that a circuit breaker had tripped, cutting off power to the WiFi equipment and getting assistance from the owner in locating the circuit panel (it really helps to have a husband who is a software developer as the issue was never the password in our case). I wouldn't have minded better cookware since we do tend to cook and eat-in. The new barbeque grill looked nice and I'm sorry we didn't get around to using it. All in all, our family enjoyed a relaxing stay in this beautiful setting and would want to visit again."
