"First trip to WA & was fortunate to find this rental. Beautiful setting & views. Home is spotless & updated. Would highly recommend this property. Location is great for sightseeing. We traveled to the coast twice, Victoria & hiked in Olympic National Park."

"My husband and I enjoyed this home for three months, and all of our experiences with the home and the owner were positive!. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the home was very clean, and each room was well-stocked (ex: cookware, dish and laundry soap, paper towels, bedding, cleaning supplies, and even some food staples) with more items than one would expect. Each day, we admired the beautiful mountain views and the brilliant sunsets while lounging in the dining and living rooms or sitting outside on the wraparound deck. This spring brought a variety of birds at the many bird feeders outside the house: woodpeckers, chickadees, robins, hummingbirds, and bluejays--to name just a few! The Camelia bush was packed with lush pink blossoms already in February. Daffodils, tulips, violets and many flowering perennial bushes showed off their colors between mid to late-March. My husband and I babysat our two toddler grandchildren a couple days each week. The Olympic home is one of the last homes on top the hill, and the road down to the highway provided a safe walking path for us with the grandkids. We defintely look forward to renting from Marion, the homeowner, again!"

"We rented this home for a family vacation (8 adults, 2 children and 1 newborn) and it accommodated us all so well. The views were spectacular.... 2 submarines, a small pod of whales, eagles, deer in the backyard... The kitchen has almost everything you can think of to accommodate a large family. The community pool was fabulous! Lots and lots of activities for the kids within a 20 to 30 minute drive (Fort Flagler, Fort Warden, Port Townsend, Port Townsend Glass Beach, etc.). The backyard and property is landscaped beautifully and invites lots of wildlife (birds, hummingbirds, squirrels, chipmunks, etc.). Although not turned on when we arrived, the AC kept the house cool despite the exceptionally warm summer heat. Plenty of hot water for showers. We spent much of our time in the gorgeous sun room and on the back patio. Great location for a family get away. I am sure the TV Works, but we did not turn it on once--- sign of a fantastic family vacay!"

"The perfect choice for our family gathering at his quiet, well appointed home right on the Hood Canal. The 6 grandchildren enjoyed the bunk beds and treasure trove of games/toys, as well as beachcombing the shell covered beach 100 yards away. We all enjoyed the eagles, hummingbirds, herons, and rabbits as we lounged on the porch or roasted marshmallows around the camp fire. The kitchen was well equipped having all our desired dished and appliances for meals that we were all able to seat at the table for 12. Get away from the bussle and relax at his home away from home."
