  • Wish this was mine, beautiful property.

"Unfortunately, we're only here three nights. it would be so nice for a vacation lasting a week or more. The location is so calm and relaxing, and the view!!! I could stay here and only leave for a few meals out. That being said, the house is so sweet, completely furnished with everything one could need; plenty of room for four women celebrating their 60th b'day and within range to so many of the hot spots of this area. Although two bedrooms are on the second floor, there is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor (same level as the living room). Kitchen/dining room has a two or three step up from but open to the living room. The outdoors is the best and very accommodating to everyone with the time to enjoy it."

  • super clean and peaceful

"We spent 3 days here after Christmas and loved it. The house is very nicely appointed, super clean, and quiet. You are right on the water and the views are fantastic. It felt like a real get away. Thank you!"

  • A lovely place to hang your hat

"We happily called this home for the last two weeks of September, 2014. Although we’ve stayed in Sequim before, this was our first time in the Gardner community. The house is set high on a bluff overlooking Discovery Bay and each day began with us peering out to see what it and the sky offered. This is how a day should begin. In fact, the living room, family room, eating area and one of the bedrooms all look out over the Bay. One of the unexpected features are the peacocks which visit every day. There were adult females, one male and several chicks. Apparently, they “belong” to a nearby house but hung out here so often, it felt as if they were part of this place. They were our more than welcome wildlife and came up quite close seeming as curious about us as we were about them. The house is built for comfort. There are two main living room areas so it’s easy to find a place to suit your mood. The living room is a bit more formal and includes a desk and radio/CD player. Reception isn’t that great but we got a clear FM station from British Columbia we enjoyed. The other room is more casual and includes a large TV, games, books, DVDs. There were other things, too, (golf clubs perhaps), but we had no interest so didn’t use them. They are there, though. You can take lovely walks from the house through this neighborhood and get closer to the water level. Gardner has its beach nearby, too. You’ll discover the troll house, if you wander about a bit. There was one neighbor on one side but we never heard them, and barely saw them. On the other side, a new home was being constructed but there was never a noise problem, and it was relatively secluded so we hardly noticed it at all. People are friendly and will wave as you go by. This time of year, apples were weighing down some of the trees, sorely tempting us, but we remained good neighbors and didn’t give into temptation. This home is built for comfort, peace and quiet and lovely views. We’d go back to it in a flash."

  • Hidden gem in Washington!

"What a fabulous place to stay!! We happened upon the lavender farm by chance a few years ago and vowed to return and stay in the rental home someday. So glad we did!! On our arrival we were welcomed with fresh flowers in the house and a heated jacuzzi on the back deck. There is plenty to do in the area (we recommend the kayaking), but you may be tempted to stay home one of the days, just to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the lavender farm. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed with cozy comfort in mind. Everything worked perfectly and our visit was everything we hoped for. A perfect vacation!!"
