  • Exceptional home and location!

"We stayed in the home for 5 days and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is very well decorated and furnished. There was never a kitchen item we could not find, they have done a great job stocking the home with all the essentials you could ever need and more! The house is fully stocked with board games and 1,000's of Lego's for the kids (that was a great surprise!) The views from the windows are amazing and the distance from the home to the beach was very impressive, as was the beach it's self. It is FILLED with shells and sand dollars. My kids were entertained daily collecting the shells. We are a younger family and did not have an issue with all the stairs in the home, but would warn the elderly or people that do not fair well with stairs, that this home has A LOT of stairs that must be climbed to access each of the floors in the home. The pictures in this ad do the home no justice, this house is absolutely beautiful! We vacation at various beaches along the westcoast each year and have stayed at many beach homes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house and actually look forward to returning (hopefully in the winter storm months!) Thank you Marty for opening this wonderful home up for a rental for families like mine to enjoy!"

  • Foggy but nice beach anyway

"My wife was pleasantly surprised simply by the appearance of the grounds as we approached the development, and was very happy to see how nicely the unit is decorated. As the one who usually does the cooking for the family when on vacations, I have to say the selection of cooking utensils was way above par. Actually useful chef's knives, for example, are not expected in a rental. Pots and pans were high quality - no thin aluminum boiling pots here. As expected, the unit was spotless upon arrival, and I hope we left it in similar condition. The only item I would bring up is some of the kitchen counter outlets didn't work - perhaps because there was a switch we failed to notice. The breakers were all fine. Very short walk to the beach, which has a range of sandy stretches and pebbly sections with jasper and agates. There were some sand dollars, but as usual on a pebbly beach these were mostly eroded. Nice set of people seem to use th ebeach - plenty of cookouts and kite flying. All in all a great place."

  • Absolutely Amazing

"This condo is perfect. We happened to be there right before the busy summer season, and we felt like we had our own little private piece of the ocean. The ocean, the dune, the condo itself were all far better than we expected. The personal touches just add to the little heaven the owners have created here. It took me a while to decide if I wanted to write a review simply because I am not sure I really want other people to know it exists - I want it to be our own little getaway! I have one small caution. The DVD about Westport shouldn't be watched by anyone who is vegan or who really loves animals. There's some interesting bits about surfing and such, but watching the locals tease and race crabs and then of course, eat them, is pretty disturbing for the truly compassionate."
