  • Very Nice Place to Stay

"We stayed here for three days recently. The pictures do not do the house justice as it is much nicer in person than in the pics. It was very cute, comfortable, with lots of natural light (of course, during our stay the sun was out every day) and stunning water views. The small front yard was a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the views. The location is also perfect--we saw deer pass by in front of the house and all we had to do was walk across the two-lane street and we were at the national park trails, but town wasn't far away. The only issue at all is that the WiFi went down after the first day--it wasn't a big enough issue for us to contact the owner, but I think if we had contacted her she would have taken care of it as we met her briefly and she seemed very nice. I would recommend this house as a great place to stay when visiting Port Angeles--it is nicer and more affordable overall, I think, than staying at a hotel. We enjoyed cooking there and the house had all the kitchen ammenities."

  • peaceful sanctuary

"Thanks for the lovely stay, Darin. We appreciated the quiet setting in which to regroup after nearly a week of packed sightseeing. The cottage was comfortable and met our needs very well, although the friendly outdoor cats were a terrific surprise. Glad to recommend this place to others and hope to one day make it back."

  • Cute condo

"We stayed for two nights this past weekend. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still enjoyed the visit to this sleepy town. Pluses: A short walk to the beach, wi fi, gorgeous view, short walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a lot of kitchen appliances. Minuses: Very squeaky 2nd floor subfloor, needs better skillets/pans in kitchen, additional spatulas, fan in bedroom was broken, no soaps or toiletries, no hairdryer. We ended up purchasing fans as it was very warm at night and a hairdryer (which we left there for the next guests). Town is very sleepy, most places close early even on the weekend."

  • "A Gem in Chimacum"

"You will find a very quiet, peaceful, and picturesque setting for your stay in the Valley at Chimacum Ridge Lodge with welcoming, attentive hosts. They have created a wonderful private, spacious, and very comfortable accommodation for their guests with plenty of ambience and charm. It is a great location from which to take day excursions such as a ferry ride to Whidbey Island, walk along the historic Water Street, and dine at the popular AJAX Cafe in Port Hadlock and the waterfront Inn at Port Ludlow. This well-maintained property is the perfect place to unpack your bags for several days, relax, and enjoy the lovely views and sights that will long be remembered!"
