  • Wonderful Vacation Getaway!

"This location was perfect. It had a breathtaking view of the mountains, it was nearby several terrific points of interest (including Olympic National Park's Hurricane Ridge), yet it was in a quiet and peaceful location. The cabin had all the amenities one could want with the rustic feel of an authentic cabin. It was clean, very open, and warm. It was perfect for our family of four (teenage kids). Suzann welcomed us with homemade cinnamon rolls and a personalized, hand-written note. Martin was also very handy and helpful. Suzann also personally mailed a left-behind item to us after the fact without us even asking. It was just what the doctor ordered for a family that needed a serene and enjoyable Spring vacation. We could not have asked for a better stay. We highly recommend this property and would definitely come back!"

"We enjoyed wonderful 3 days at Landhaus Quilcene. Everything was great and we felt like home right away. Our German family members also enjoyed the Bavarian Style of the cabin and the adventure we made out of it. We would recommend the cabin and we would stay again at the Landhaus. We also signed the guest book. Thanks again Angela and Family"

  • Extended Stay on Olympic Rusge

"My husband and I enjoyed this home for three months, and all of our experiences with the home and the owner were positive!. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the home was very clean, and each room was well-stocked (ex: cookware, dish and laundry soap, paper towels, bedding, cleaning supplies, and even some food staples) with more items than one would expect. Each day, we admired the beautiful mountain views and the brilliant sunsets while lounging in the dining and living rooms or sitting outside on the wraparound deck. This spring brought a variety of birds at the many bird feeders outside the house: woodpeckers, chickadees, robins, hummingbirds, and bluejays--to name just a few! The Camelia bush was packed with lush pink blossoms already in February. Daffodils, tulips, violets and many flowering perennial bushes showed off their colors between mid to late-March. My husband and I babysat our two toddler grandchildren a couple days each week. The Olympic home is one of the last homes on top the hill, and the road down to the highway provided a safe walking path for us with the grandkids. We defintely look forward to renting from Marion, the homeowner, again!"

  • Great place for a family to stay

"We had a wedding to attend at the Inn and chose to stay in the condos with our family. It worked even better than we hoped with plenty of room for everybody to come by and visit the evening before and as a staging location for people who didn't have a room to change and store some things before the wedding. The condo is very roomy, has lots of nice touches and a very nice view out onto the water. My whole family really enjoyed the stay. And to top it off, my youngest son left his wallet in one of the nightstand and Joan located the wallet and took the extra effort to mail it back to us (including getting insurance on it!!!). Thank you Joan for a wonderful stay and being a top notch host!!"
