Loved our Sun House Stay
"We loved our weekend getaway at the Sun House. The house itself is bright, clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, with big windows facing the beach, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Victoria Island in the distance. We had some great walks on the beach and on nearby hiking trails with our dog, including an easy beach walk right from the house to the mouth of the Elwha River. Both days were capped off with magnificent sunsets, drinking a glass of wine in Adirondack chairs on the deck."

"We love to visit the Olympic Peninsula and this home was perfect. Clean and comfortable and in the middle of all there is to see and do along the coast. It was a great place to unwind after scouring the beach for treasures. This is a place we would recommend to all who are visiting the Forks area. Thank You for providing a great home."

"We are so happy that we were able to return to Eagle's Nest for part of our trip to Washington. The home was just as we had remembered it, just as comfortable and relaxing. We spend a lot of time hiking on our trips, and there are several great places to go with the cabin as "home base." This time we hiked up Mt. Townsend and went to Murhut Falls, which is a very pleasant hike to a beautiful waterfall. We also spent one day just hanging around the house, playing games, resting and relaxing on the deck."

"This was a nice place to stay. Our weekend included 1 mostly rainy day and we were very pleased with the house. We had 3 couples and this gave us room to gather around either the large dinning room table, fire pit, screened in porch or retreat to a bedroom for a bit of rest. We did open all window and air out the house on our arrival. The kitchen was nicely stock with cooking utensils, and a variety of cooking ingredients. The house was limited to us by not having drinkable water (high iron content, which also stains the toilette and tube). The neighborhood is interesting with lots of No Trespassing signs. I will say however, everyone we came in contact with was quite friendly and everyone waves when you pass them on the street. We walked to the beach multiple times of day and loved every bit of it. We will stay here again if possible."
