Great Value: Perfect Setting for Retreat
"Met all criteria for a sister bonding/cleansing/unplugging weekend: seclusion, rustic lodging, electricity, no sound curfew, fire pit, surrounding forest, nearby waterfall/river, fresh air.
Comparative luxuries: flushing toilet (compost toilet during Winter), hot shower, heaters, microwave/toaster ovens. Fridge/freezers are small, enough for roughly 3 days of whole foods. I never knew if the tap water was filtered in any way, so we drank bottled. Huge movie selection (though we didn't use TV at all).
The only hiccup was that the owner mistook my arrival date for a day later, so the yurt wasn't cleaned before I arrived, and he arrived to clean while I was there. But it wasn't too bad to begin with, so I'd already taken care of it. It was nice to meet him, because I was very appreciative of his property."

"stayed at this house for a week while enjoying hiking/biking/kayaking in the pacific northwest. very clean house with all the basics you need to do you own cooking and relaxing. master bedroom/bath is on opposite side of the house from other two bedrooms and bath which is convenient for families with children, couples traveling together or friends that want more privacy. Safeway and Walmart are about a 5 minute drive. If you like organic food, check out Country Aire grocery store. For any yoga enthusiasts, check out Poser Yoga in downtown Port Angeles. Make sure you include time to reach the main highway (about 5 minutes) and drive through Port Angeles (15-20 minutes) if you plan to take any trips west of the city."

"This house was perfect for 3 couples. The view was amazing, the location perfect and the house itself was very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of towels in each of the 3 bathrooms. The location was great for our daytrips to Port Townsend for the wooden boat show, to Hurricane Ridge, the Hoh rain forest and Rialto Beach. Rented kayaks at the John Wayne Marina and also had a fabulous dinner there to celebrate me and my twin's birthday. Cooked fresh halibut and salmon a couple of nights on the new BBQ grill and enjoyed sitting on the deck staring at the water with our wine...also with coffee in the mornings. Debbie is a great communicator and makes everything easy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who likes a quieter setting among the trees."
