  • Wonderful place to stay!

"This unit is a perfect place for a get-away on Bainbridge Island! The unit is extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. There is plenty of space for two people, and the location is ideal. It is easy to walk to the small town close by, and the road is great for biking. We truly enjoyed our week long stay, and the owners were perfectly gracious and kind. I would highly recommend this unit for your next vacation."

  • Cozy getaway

"We spent three wonderful weeks in this cozy apartment. Arriving in the afternoon we were immediately taken by the beautiful view from our private deck of Puget Sound with downtown Seattle in the distance. The apartment is beautifully decorated and absolutely cozy! Spacious kitchen and living room arrangement. The brand new king-size bed was so comfortable and the linens heavenly. The bath has everything you need with a great shower/tub combination. Now the best part, the owners are so friendly and attentive to your every need. Generously sharing with us the bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables from their amazing garden. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone."

  • Romantic Getaway straight out of a movie!

"Wow! Where do I start? My husband and I take mini vacations a couple times a year to get a break from busy work schedules and even busier kiddos. We have stayed at countless VRBO locations and the Beach Cottage is by far one of the best! Julie was fantastic! Responding to our many questions promptly. She has put so much care into creating a beautiful and extremely romantic space at the cottage. From the amazing water views outside, the beautiful Nantucket decor inside, incredible hiking trails, comfy linens, amazing bed, kitchen supplies, slippers, robes, coffee, and wifi you really should look no further. Lynwood shopping center is a short 3 minute walk from the cottage. It has a few shops, a small market, and a delicious restaurant called the Treehouse. Winslow is a short 10 minute ride by shuttle. The shuttle is only $2 per person and runs all over the island. This makes getting around incredibly convenient. If your traveling on Sunday Bainbridge taxi is also very prompt and convenient. The Ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge island is a 35 min gorgeous ride across Puget Sound and only costs $8 per person round trip! We highly recommend this cottage for anyone needing a quiet getaway that is comfortable with great hiking and great views. We cannot wait to return. Thx Julie!"

  • Wonderful island home

"We very much enjoyed our week in this home. The view of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains from the deck was beautiful. We cooked in every night (well stocked kitchen with high-end appliances) and ate our meals outside on the deck. We highly recommend doing your grocery shopping at Central Market in Poulsbo. It's actually fun to go shopping there and the seafood selection is amazing. Try Dungeness crab, it's worth the splurge. The home's comforts are numerous: large flat screen TV, gas fireplace, large closet/dressing area connected to the master bath with beautiful view and super comfortable and plush master bedroom bed. Bainbridge Island is a perfect central location for exploring the area. On the island, we highly recommend visiting Bloedel Reserve, the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum and the Japanese Exclusion Memorial. Wonderful day trips include: Whidbey island, Hurricane Ridge, the Naval Undersea Museum in Keystone and downtown Seattle. If you like jazz, Dimitriou's Jazz Alley books wonderful jazz artists. The owners were responsive and very easy to deal with. We look forward to returning."
