  • Cozy and Comfortable

"We stayed here in the winter time for 16 nights while we were having work done on our house. It was a great find. The house is nicely decorated and well-stocked and the views of the lake are amazing. Even in the winter, the lake is great to watch in the rain, the sun, the fog and all in between. We spent a lot of time on the dock watching the water and the sun and fog and looking for eagles (and there were several). It was fun to watch the regulars water ski and fish in January. And one day I even enjoyed watching a sea plane practice take offs and landings! We all wished it was July and so we could play in the water too. The house is cozy and comfortable. Even though there are quite a few other house close together, the house feels secluded and cabin-like with a huge deck and trees. There are two living areas so plenty of room to spread out and hang out. The kids loved the upstairs bedrooms and the three bathrooms made mornings easier than when we're at home. I loved the large dining room table and the functional kitchen. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: good variety of spices, oil, vinegar, flour, foil, plastic wrap, even storage containers for left overs. And this is the first VRBO house we've stayed at that had a decent set of sharp knives. It really was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen. Although the house has lots of baby items for those who need them, the two upstairs bedrooms are up steep flights of steps. I would have been nervous with little ones, carrying them up and down or those still learning to navigate stairs. My kids 7 and 11 LOVED the stairs and the rooms and I had no worries with them. There are small plastic cups, plates and bowls as well as pack and plays, baby gates, etc. These are nice not to have to worry about when travelling. We're hoping to convince family to come and stay during the summer so we can enjoy being in the water as much as we enjoyed looking at it. I highly recommend the Eagle's Nest!"

  • A beautiful home

"My family of 7 (ages 7 to 74) spent a week in this lovely home. For years we've rented a home twice a year to vacation together. We've thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have never even been tempted to rent the same home twice - until now. This home is amazing and we'd all love to come back for another week. It's well designed, beautifully decorated, has lovely landscaping and is in a perfect location - near excellent hiking trails and restaurants. We spent many relaxed, happy evenings on the lovely deck that overlooks the gurgling river - chatting and listening to the big variety of birds."

  • Worked for me

"Extremely quiet, good for sleep. Clean. Has ample space for more than one person, though I stayed there alone. It felt safe and secure."

  • Quiet, excellent location

"I stayed here with my children for seven weeks over the summer and it met our needs perfectly. The condo is on a top floor and was very quiet, so we all slept well. The queen bed was super comfortable. The condo is well-stocked with essentials, along with some pantry items left by previous renters. The landlords are very attentive and answered my questions promptly. The condo is located in a large apartment complex across from Crossroads Mall and near 156th Ave SE, so bus service to Redmond and downtown Bellevue is readily available. There are smokers in adjoining units who smoke outside, which limited our ability to keep the sliding glass doors open from time to time, but we survived. It also would have been nice if there had been more empty cupboard space for us to have stored our things. There were a fair number of decorative items that I put away during our time there since they were in the way. Still, I would stay here again and I recommend the place."
