"Patte, thank you for making this house available to us. Bakerview Beach House is an absolutely beautiful place to enjoy a girls weekend. The house was immaculate and supplied everything that we needed. With 4 ladies sharing, it was wonderful to have 2 complete bathrooms. One of us used the steam shower and raved about it! While there is a large dining room table, the breakfast bar was where we chose to share meals. Beautiful views, large deck space, easy access to beach (if you are okay with stairs), room to sprawl, very comfortable beds, parking within a few steps of the door, quiet neighbourhood, central location on Whidbey Island ... the list goes on. Having travelled with very elderly parents, I am always checking accessibility features. Being that everything is on one level (unless one wants to go to the beach), I found that this would be a perfect destination. I would definitely book this VRBO again."

"The home is situated in a very nice location with a great view of the Puget Sound and Whidby Island. Just far enough off the beating path to provide a private, relaxing environment yet easy access to multiple activities. The home is not, "just another rental." The home has a very personal feel that reflects the owners interests and pride of ownership. The inside of the home was extremely clean and well kept and fully supplied with most everything you would need for a comfortable relaxing stay. It has a great well kept yard. We loved the outdoor decks off the kitchen and master bedroom. Both great for morning coffee and outdoor grilling. Having done home restoration ourselves, we appreciated the quality and tastefulness of design that shows throughout the home. The property manager was very personable and helpful. She handled all details in a timely and professional manner and made our stay worry free. We had a great stay and would absolutely return."

"My family and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful home this past week. There were 16 of us and we all fit without a problem. We practically lived outside, the covered deck, sand volleyball court, firepit, did I even mention the wonderful beach right outside the backdoor? We watched the most incredible sunsets each evening. The house was so accommodating and had everything we needed or could have wanted. The owner was so welcoming and easy to work with. He responded quickly each time I had a question during our planning stages and I truly felt that he wanted my family to be happy and feeling cared for during our vacation."

"Sunset Drive is a popular viewpoint for evening sunsets over the Puget Sound viewing towards the Olympic Peninsula. The location is walking distance to the Sounder and Amtrak Train, Edmonds/Kinston Ferry Terminal, and the multitude of restaurants and shops in downtown Edmonds and about a 15 minute walk from the Edmonds off-leash dog park. The access to transportation is also the downside of this property with trains running 24/7 making it difficult to achieve a good night sleep."
