  • Cozy and lovely!

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little house on Treasure Island. Our art group spent 3 days there, set up on the back deck, painting and laughing and enjoying the beauty of the area. We saw deer each day we were there, just wandering around the island, it was lovely and serene. The town of Allyn is really cute, good wine tasting, antique shops and ice cream. Highly recommended."

  • I could stay here forever!

"What a fabulous little hideaway. The decor is to die, right down to the bathroom towels. Great location, a short walk to the beach with blackberries along the way (look up). Close to everything but feels a million miles away, and oh so private. A covered deck for inclement weather, a sunny deck for nice weather, and a gas fireplace to make the inside cozy as heck. The second bedroom now has two twin beds (different than what is shown in the photos). Very quiet, I can't believe how late we slept every morning in this super comfy bed, and the sheets are very high quality as are the kitchen implements (pans, knives). My computer-obsessed husband says to be sure and mention the 10 mB wifi. Kudos to the owner for her taste and style!"

  • a special place for family beach fun

"I had a wonderful trip to Hansville, with my twin sister, daughter and 3 young grandchildren. The beach was wonderful! We went for walks to the the lighthouse and the country store. We built castles and collected all kinds of interesting beach things. The fire pit was perfect and when it rained we made a fire inside. We saw all sorts of wild life, seals, crabs, birds. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Some very special memories were made and I hope someday to return. Thank you to the owners."

  • Peace and Quiet with an INCREDIBLE View

"My daughter moved to West Seattle from west Texas with her husband and my grandson (now 11) a year and a half ago and I had not seen them since, so I decided to come to Washington to see them. I'm so glad I chose this house for us to stay in! It was very clean and spacious. The trail/stairs down to the house is long and steep - but well worth it. The view is spectacular to put it mildly. We were blessed with some sunny days so we could see Rainier. Even on cloudy days, the view is so beautiful. We had such a wonderful, relaxing time! My grandson spent an entire day throwing rocks into the water. We saw otters, bald eagles, a loon (love that call) and even Orcas one morning (about 3 we thought). We never even left the island until I had to get to the airport. We loved exploring Vashon. The house was a great place to spend time with my family after so, so long! Christine and Jim greeted us when we arrived and were very kind and accomodating."
