"The house had everything we needed. Our hosts were very gracious and flexible. The view is incredible and an easy walk to everything in Edmonds. We had an awesome stay and will definitely come back. Thank you all!"

  • Wonderful vacation home

"The room was spacious, clean and new looking, artfully decorated, with upscale fixtures in the bath, a nice balcony for coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening, and many nice amenities in the kitchen/living room area. The owners were as helpful and friendly as could be. It is a short walk to the main street area of Edmonds with many restaurants and shops as well as the beach park, ferry and transportation center. There was a noise issue with the train, not so much the ferry, but that affects any community near the train line which runs next to the water, not just this home. As the owners will readily tell you, if the train whistle is a problem for you, this may not be the place you want. Bottom line is that the home, the owners and the community are so nice that we will be back at the first opportunity."

  • T&J from SA, TX

"This was our second stay at the cottage and we enjoyed it even more than the first stay. The fresh baked pie at arrival was second to none, which is always a great start. The view is awesome, which is not only of Puget Sound, but of whatever wildlife or birds that may in the area. It is a great place to go and relax, relieve stress and appreciate the greater things in life. Edmonds is a great community to shop and eat. The ferry to Kingston leaves from downtown and you can even catch a train to Vancouver, B.C. if you want some adventure. There are many wild blackberry bushes to harvest in August & September, plus John & Laura grow all kinds of berries, plums, apples, and even some rhubarb. John & Laura are great hosts, always willing to provide information, and their "talking stool" idea is very helpful. We look forward to our next visit. The 38 or 39 steps down to the cottage can be a challenge, but it is still well worth it."

  • Peaceful Gem

"What a treat – nestled against Puget Sound at the end of a quiet street you’ll find Nicole & Bill’s beautiful home. My family of 4 adults truly enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were so comfortable and wonderfully clean. The two large bedrooms on the bottom floor opened to the incredible views of the Sound and the backyard garden. My mother enjoyed the 1st floor bedroom with easy access to the living spaces and the front entryway. The home is a short drive or very nice walk to Edmonds town. Nicole was always available to answer any questions and we hope to return again soon in the near future."
