"This was just an outstanding place for us to stay over our spring break . . . 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 8, and 4) all fit comfortably. We used an air mattress that is provided with the house in addition to the two queen beds. The house is clean, well-furnished, and well-equipped. The view over the water and across to the Olympic mountains is absolutely stunning -- just a breathtaking spot. We took day trips into Seattle, riding the ferry, and also enjoyed walking in Poulsbo. We will certainly look for an opportunity to stay here again."

"You may wonder—what is the unique appeal of Whidbey Island in the winter? Well, it’s your chance to experience the wildest side of the Northwest up close. And at the Beach House, you can do this in absolute comfort. We saw it all this weekend: waves crashing against the shore, eagles gliding on the wind, harbor seals body surfing in the white caps, and even the magical appearance of the snow-capped Olympic Mountains on the horizon. Snug and warm, sipping coffee (and later, wine), there was not a thing we could add to the perfection of these moments. In addition to gaping out the panoramic windows, we also availed ourselves of the convenient walking path just down the street and the Ebey bluff trail just down the road. Jack was the perfect host-from-afar, always accessible and incredibly helpful. This weekend will continue in our mental landscape for a long time, and hopefully carry us through until we can get back next summer!"

"This home turned out to be the perfect home as a base of operations for our daughter and son in laws wedding. We could not have ordered a better home to host out of town guests and family for the big event. On the morning of the wedding the bridesmaids all gathered around the massive dining room table to get their hair and make up done by local beauticians with the view of the water as the backdrop through the full length windows. The groomsman gathered in the basement entertaining area to do what knucklehead groomsman do, such as play pool and watch the game on the big screen TV, and they all enjoyed the hot tub and steam bath minutes prior to suiting up. Lots of fun and great photo ops for the photographer. The couple had their first look pictures taken on the expansive back lawn with the view of the sound and mountains in the background, which worked out just perfect. During it all we were able to utilize the truly gourmet kitchen to cook meals and appetizers to keep everybody feed and beverages flowing. We also had a couple of musicians in the group that enjoyed entertaining us all on the piano.
This house would be perfect for any event or family gathering, it is very welcoming and comfortable and has everything you need to just stay put and enjoy it. We feel very fortunate we were able to rent this home and appreciate the owners for making it available and making sure every detail is taken care of."

"We had a fantastic weekend with a large crew in this comfortable, clean, well supplied, well positioned house. Everyone had great fun lounging on the back patio, on the back lawn, and playing in kayaks and boats off the dock. Superb location, quiet but close to amenities. Owners were wonderful to work with. Everyone in our group agreed we would happily rent again."
