  • Perfect in every way!

"We had a lovely stay at the wonderful house. The location is simply amazing, and you feel like you're on a ship at high tide with views of the Olympic mountains. We shucked oysters on the beach every day, and our son loved playing with the Lincoln logs and reading Beatrix Potter. The house is super well stocked with books, movies, and games. The master suite is such a retreat--don't miss it. This is definitely one of our favorite rentals of all time, and we can't wait to come back."

  • Even better than expected!

"As we entered the gated driveway and made our way up to the house, we were amazed by the scenery and the grounds. This was a perfect getaway for a family during a very busy family wedding weekend. Plenty of room to be by yourself, yet have an intimate dinner for 14. Loved the grounds and the wildlife as well. The house had just about every amenity needed (some complained about no TV or Internet) but we had a fun time with out them."

  • Heavenly

"Heaven, Our family had a great time, Our stay was priceless and what a paradise. Everything we could of imagine happened, including taking the Rowe boat and catching a rainbow trout. The place had everything we needed, and the place was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and with extra linen. The Nielsen ' s even provided extra, in their first aid kid (Benedryl, Ibuprofen and much more. I did have a slight headache and was very nice that I did not have to go to the store. To make the story short. My headache went away within 10 minutes and I was able to enjoy my family having a great time and enjoy the scenery over an open fire. We can't wait to come back next summer. Thank You K.E"

  • Amazing stay

"This has to be the cabin that inspired Hansel and Gretl. It was one of the coolest places we have ever stayed. From the minute you pull down the long driveway you are a million miles from Seattle. The cabin is quiet and serene. We spent hours drinking cider and sitting on the porch reading. My husband runs a construction company and must have spent the majority of his time looking at the wood and inspecting how well the cabin was made....He was blown away by the details. The bed was SO cozy and comfortable. It's pretty centrally located, we went back and forth between Langley and Coupville for coffee and snacks. After spending a day hiking deception pass we couldn't wait to get back to soak in the tub. This is now a staple for us for Fall in Seattle. It was the most amazing place. And Luanne could not have been an easier/more gracious host!"
