"For two weeks, including the Thanksgiving Holiday for 2014, our family enjoyed this very warm and cozy beach house. It ended up to be a perfect place for the 7 of us who were there, including our three grandchildren ages 5, 8 and 11 plus their dog. The view was spectacular since the home is right on the beach. During our stay, we had snow with freezing conditions for a couple of days which only enhanced the view. Our daughter, son-in-law & their children enjoyed fishing from the bank out front and we all went on beach walks to search for shells & treasures. The 4 bedrooms with queen sized beds were most comfortable with exceptional bedding. Brent, the home's owner was easy to contact with any questions or concerns regarding the house. We can only imagine what it would be like to spend time at this home during the summer where one could spend most days on the deck & sand. We look forward to our next stay! Mike & Carol"

"The house was clean and comfortable, with lots of nice little touches. Our daughter was delighted by the unconventional towel rack in the bathroom. We got the tour and learned all about life on the farm and the history of the community. We fed the sheep. We enjoyed a little fire at the party shack overlooking the farm fields. It was a great getaway where we could just relax for a couple of days, yet it was close enough that we were easily able to visit friends in downtown Seattle. We also visited Snohomish, which had great little shops and a nice farmers market. And a very delicious pie place.
We will definitely stay here again."

"We (4 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed staying on this property. The kids got excited to sleep on a bunk bed.Just a note there's only one queen size bed and a futon for the 4 adults. My husband and I didn't mind, so it worked out fine.
We love how spacious and convenient it was to Langley. Nice like 5 min walk to all the shops and restaurants. Best to make reservations ahead of time for weekend visits, as restaurants fill up fast.
Wish there was wifi and more updated TV. But on the other hand who comes to Whidbey to watch TV. But it was more for the kids at night when we needed some down time.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!"

"We were recently in a friend's wedding and needed a place to stay for the weekend. This was so much more than we expected. We stayed with another couple who were in the wedding and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was clean, comfy, and the view was absolutely amazing. That weekend was bucking 90 degrees on the island but the cottage stayed nice and cool. I would absolutely come back and stay here again. I would also like to compliment the staff who were renting the space. I am a teacher, so I have little computer time during a day and it sometimes took me forever to get back to Patti and Shelly at Whidbey Getaways. They were so accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. We will certainly be back!"
