"We spent a week at the house and it exceeded all expectations we had based on the pictures. We have rented homes in various places in the US and Ireland. This house was not only beautifully built and decorated, it was also the most fully stocked home we've ever rented. This house is a wonderful place for a family to stay and spend time together. The three bedrooms and two full bath would also make it a great place for friends to hang out.
You could easily spend a full week without ever leaving the house as there are lots of opportunities for kayaking, swimming, hanging out on the deck, and cooking both indoors and out.
We chose to use the house as our base for visiting areas around the Hood Canal and the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas. If you're up for various adventures you can easily use the house as a jumping off point for day trips to the Alderbrook Resort (golf, boat rides, and a great restaurant), Hama Hama Oyster Farm, the Staircase entrance to Olympic National park, Lake Cushman, Port Townsend, Finn River Cidery, Bainbridge Island, and numerous State Parks and parts of the National Forest.
We would recommend both the home and all the area activities to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful Hood Canal, a little known treasure."

"This fantastic house was perfect for our big family. We were impressed with cleanliness, accommodations and amenities as advertised. This house had it all for a family ranging from 2 years old to teenagers. Thanks for the memories Picture Perfect!"

"Our family was raised in this house in the 1060's. For the past 9 years we have had our annual family reunion here in August. It is so much fun to hang out in the Gladwin House again. The Wylies are excellent hosts and make everyone feel comfortable. I would recommend this place for any family that loves the beach life and likes a historic place with plenty of charm. In 9 years we have had an awesome time every time!"

"This "cabin" is excellent - very well stocked, excellent beds, tastefully decorated, nice comfortable furnishings, great game closet and outdoor games as well. Linens were nice, there's towels for the beach in addition to good quality towels for the bath. There's even an outdoor shower! Very short distance to the beach - easily manageable by those with some mobility issues (ie: need to walk with a cane). So fun to go at low tide and then 6 or so hours later for high tide."
