  • Fabulous family wedding/reunion at your beautiful Home!

"Our family just had a wedding up at Bonney Lake area, and a bunch of us stayed at your home. Everyone LOVED it! The home is uniquely and beautifully decorated. So much intricate detail went in to the home decor & design. And the backyard landscape is wonderful! We were amazed when we showed up and started looking around the property. I heard many in the family say that they wished they had a couple more days to just stay, relax, and enjoy the house. We sat outside in the mornings over coffee and breakfast, chit-chatting, birdwatching, and just enjoying the beautiful serene garden area... It's like a backyard park! We could have lounged outside for HOURS. If we were ever up in that area again, we'd recommend your home in a heartbeat. THANK YOU!!"

  • Serene solo sojourn

"I recently took myself and my dog on a personal retreat here to rest, write, yoga and meditate. As soon as I arrived at the location, I was struck by the peacefulness. The lake is quiet, with only the sound of birdsong and the hum of bees. The cabin, cozy and comfortable, but the real attraction is the location. I spent most of my stay on the deck, enjoying the view, and in the wonderful hot tub, soaking my cares away. At night, the frogs and crickets sing their hallelujah chorus and if you're lucky, the stars twinkle above the tree tops. I am reluctant to sing this property's praises too much, however, because I have vowed to make this an annual getaway and I don't want too many people finding out about it! Oh, and the bed in the upstairs loft is very comfy and I loved waking up to the morning light and lake view. Perfection!"

  • An almost perfect place

"We thought this would be a great location for our three families(with children ages 13-4) to vacation together. When we first drove up to the house I was so happy. It was a beautiful retro beach house...just my style! The pictures that are posted with the listing are very accurate. It was a bright, open, cheerful house! Best parts? The upstairs is beautifully done in a beachy theme, it is water front, very quiet(since there were no neighbors on either side during our stay), has beautiful views and there is a kitchen down by the water. Not so great parts? First thing we saw when we entered was a dead baby mouse by the deck door. We proceeded to find three more dead mice and one live one crawling down the stairs. The owners assured us that it has been exterminated recently and they had no idea where they were coming from. We saw one a couple days later but none after that. The downstairs bathroom could use some work (I ended up sharing the master bathroom with my in-laws because I couldn't bring myself to shower down there again). While it IS water front there is nothing in the listing that says to get down to the water you have to navigate a pretty steep trail. There are railings but if the trail was wet at all it was slippery which can be dangerous for little kids and older people. We thought we would be able to relax at the beach and run to the house if we needed something but that didn't happen, if we went down we stayed until we were ready to be done and we certainly didn't carry anything down with us so we wouldn't have to haul it back up again. It was also a little dirty. On the surface it was very clean and tidy but once we started opening cupboards to put food etc away we noticed it could use a good deep cleaning, there were also beer bottles and other garbage by the fire pit. Overall this is a great place. There were some things that we didn't love but for the most part if you're looking for a quiet place to rest and relax with gorgeous views of the sound then this is the place for you. And if you love antiques be sure to check out Sassafras! It's fabulous! Sassafras 1619 172nd St N.E Marysville, WA 98272"
