"We were amazed at the charm, decor and cleanliness of the Gladwin home. It was more spacious than the pictures. Was a perfect size for our group. The owner met us, showed us around, was very friendly and accommodating. One air conditioner was not working upstairs and he stayed until he fixed it. The home was furnished with all the items needed to be comfortable, and able to cook all our meals easily. The salt water was a perfect temperature for swimming after coming in over the warm rocks. We dug up clams, and went kayaking. Went on two family walk outings close by to explore the area. Played volleyball at the community park next door. Can not say enough of how wonderful Gladwin House is. We will definitely be returning for another fun get away."

"My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the boathouse, which is an efficiency studio in the lower level of this rental. It was charming, quiet, and very comfortable. We didn't have an opportunity to use all the amenities, but the unit is extremely well-equipped with cooking implements, fridge, hot plate, microwave, and quite cozy with bathrobes, beach towels, and more. While there isn't a view from the apartment, there are delightful seating areas outdoors with stunning views. There is also a view from the deck off the main house, great for a family to rent the whole thing. We will definitely stay here again. Note, while I raised my eyebrows at Joy's homemade flax muffins, they are as delicious as she claims!"

"My wife and I enjoyed staying at Villa Vashon to celebrate our 25th. Bonnie is great to work with! We had the upstairs floor of her home to ourselves with separate outside entrance so we didn't feel like we were interfering with her family even if we came home late. The decor is lovely and well done. Hearing the waves with the windows open at night was really nice for a land locked Nebraskan! The lodging is located very near the ferry drop off and super convenient to access. You can drive your car onto the ferry (holds around 200 cars) or take a Seattle bus to and from the ferry to get where you need to go. There is also a water taxi on weekdays which goes to downtown Seattle (Pikes Place Market). I farm in rural Nebaska and am not used to any noise at night. There is some noise from the ferry at night(car traffic) but it didn't affect my sleep and I awoke each day refreshed from a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this destination!"
