"We visit Lake Sammamish every year from Australia and decided to rent our own place rather then staying with friends. It was an amazing week! We have even booked for 2015. The house has a beautiful view of the lake and the rooms and facilities are great. We spent most of our time outside by the pool house which has all the necessities such as fridge, dishwasher, bar area and BBQ. The Jacuzzi was great for relaxing after a full day of wake surfing on the lake. Brian, the owner, is chilled and very accommodating. If you are looking for a getaway with friends or family with kids I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"Everything was perfect for our stay! The house and view were better then expected. Everyone had their own space and the owners thought of everything for accommodating a large group. We will be back. This is one of our best vacations."

"This place was everything we hope for.. Not far from the world .. plenty of unique shopping and eating near by but relaxation close at hand. We loved that 3 young deer came up to the back deck in the morning while we had the double slider open. We even had a humming bird check us out and hereon where about at the beach. Great deck for viewing sunsets. Towels are provided but if you are a bigger person, you might need to bring your own. The Hot tub is wonderful but suited more for 2 people. Awesome for a couple. Great WiFi connection :-) If you are a big cooker, you may need to bring your on equipment. They have the basics but things like veg peeler were not there when we visited.. not a problem if you are prepared :-) However, they had frosty mugs in the freezer! Sweet! So loved staying here and will be back for girls weekend next year for sure!"

"We stayed here in the winter time for 16 nights while we were having work done on our house. It was a great find. The house is nicely decorated and well-stocked and the views of the lake are amazing. Even in the winter, the lake is great to watch in the rain, the sun, the fog and all in between. We spent a lot of time on the dock watching the water and the sun and fog and looking for eagles (and there were several). It was fun to watch the regulars water ski and fish in January. And one day I even enjoyed watching a sea plane practice take offs and landings! We all wished it was July and so we could play in the water too.
The house is cozy and comfortable. Even though there are quite a few other house close together, the house feels secluded and cabin-like with a huge deck and trees. There are two living areas so plenty of room to spread out and hang out. The kids loved the upstairs bedrooms and the three bathrooms made mornings easier than when we're at home. I loved the large dining room table and the functional kitchen. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: good variety of spices, oil, vinegar, flour, foil, plastic wrap, even storage containers for left overs. And this is the first VRBO house we've stayed at that had a decent set of sharp knives. It really was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen.
Although the house has lots of baby items for those who need them, the two upstairs bedrooms are up steep flights of steps. I would have been nervous with little ones, carrying them up and down or those still learning to navigate stairs. My kids 7 and 11 LOVED the stairs and the rooms and I had no worries with them. There are small plastic cups, plates and bowls as well as pack and plays, baby gates, etc. These are nice not to have to worry about when travelling.
We're hoping to convince family to come and stay during the summer so we can enjoy being in the water as much as we enjoyed looking at it. I highly recommend the Eagle's Nest!"
