  • Memorial Weekend

"My five year old grandson, on our way home, "We have to do that more often!! What does more often mean?" Exactly, but it means, we will definitely do this again!!"

  • Great place, homey and comfy!

"This was a great place to stay, very comfortable and included a lot of great toys/books for the kids. Don was really nice and very helpful. It was really easy to get a hold of him when we needed to and the kids really enjoyed the extras like a little table where they could breakfast and outdoor toys, especially the tent! The place looks exactly as it does in the pictures and the bathroom was very well stocked. Very clean and well maintained and we loved finding all the little notes and hints placed around the house! We greatly enjoyed our stay here and the kids loved having all the extras to play with. It's also very close to a Costco and many businesses, so it was super convenient."

  • Perfect cozy spot for small family and couples

"This is a beautiful suite in a neat area of the island. I felt Freeland was like stepping back in time yet we were a pleasant 50 minute drive to the more populated Oak Harbor and a short 10 minutes to Langley. The suite is decorated beautifully and accommodated 2 adults and a 9 year old well. There are artistic high ceilings and drop lights with dimmers for an artistic touch. The kitchen does not have a stove but does have a small fridge, microwave and convection oven. We slept well in the quiet bedroom. Virginia and Ken were kind and had good recommendations for things to do and places to go. If you are a wine lover you MUST stop in Blooms for a tasting (and some purchasing if you love it as much as I did!!). Over all this was a great place to stay on Whidbey and I plan to stay again when we can make it out here."

  • Simple and beautiful

"Weekend, girls getaway that was just perfect. The accommodation is in an excellent location with wonderful views of the harbor. It's simplicity allows for a completely comfortable getaway in the sun or the rain. Great views, great light for reading and a fireplace for the truly rainy, windy Bainbridge days. We appreciated all of the information provided by the owner about Bainbridge, and the quiet of the unit. Highly recommended."
