  • Relaxing Girls Weekend

"We decided to find a cabin on the water with a wonderful view instead of staying at the Tulalip Casino for our girls weekend and we were certainly impressed and happy we did! The view is amazing, the pictures can't really do it the justice it deserves and we were beyond surprised with how beautiful it was when we arrived. The cabin was perfectly clean and very well equipped (even had plastic straws for our drinks!) We spent most of our time shopping but the time we did have at the cabin was spent on the gorgeous deck admiring the amazing views of Mission Bay. The only complaint I have is that we would have liked to have stayed longer! I had great communication from Becky and her husband met us upon our arrival and showed us into the cabin. I would very much recommend this property to anyone interested in staying near the Seattle Premium Outlets -- perfect for a girls weekend away."

  • An almost perfect place

"We thought this would be a great location for our three families(with children ages 13-4) to vacation together. When we first drove up to the house I was so happy. It was a beautiful retro beach house...just my style! The pictures that are posted with the listing are very accurate. It was a bright, open, cheerful house! Best parts? The upstairs is beautifully done in a beachy theme, it is water front, very quiet(since there were no neighbors on either side during our stay), has beautiful views and there is a kitchen down by the water. Not so great parts? First thing we saw when we entered was a dead baby mouse by the deck door. We proceeded to find three more dead mice and one live one crawling down the stairs. The owners assured us that it has been exterminated recently and they had no idea where they were coming from. We saw one a couple days later but none after that. The downstairs bathroom could use some work (I ended up sharing the master bathroom with my in-laws because I couldn't bring myself to shower down there again). While it IS water front there is nothing in the listing that says to get down to the water you have to navigate a pretty steep trail. There are railings but if the trail was wet at all it was slippery which can be dangerous for little kids and older people. We thought we would be able to relax at the beach and run to the house if we needed something but that didn't happen, if we went down we stayed until we were ready to be done and we certainly didn't carry anything down with us so we wouldn't have to haul it back up again. It was also a little dirty. On the surface it was very clean and tidy but once we started opening cupboards to put food etc away we noticed it could use a good deep cleaning, there were also beer bottles and other garbage by the fire pit. Overall this is a great place. There were some things that we didn't love but for the most part if you're looking for a quiet place to rest and relax with gorgeous views of the sound then this is the place for you. And if you love antiques be sure to check out Sassafras! It's fabulous! Sassafras 1619 172nd St N.E Marysville, WA 98272"

  • Great Retreat Location

"Our theatre company used this property for our 2014 retreat, and we were so pleased! Beautiful location, kitchen could accommodate a large group, and the bald eagle was totally there. Jeff was great to work with, very prompt responses to all our questions."

  • Wow...we’ll be back!

"We spent the weekend here and didn't want to leave. We were in awe of the amazing views of Puget Sound during the day and the vibrant stars illuminating the sky at night. The home is gorgeous, well furnished and very clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with every item one would need for cooking for large groups. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home. We will definitely stay there again!"
