"My husband and I stayed in this lovely house for three nights prior to taking the ferry to Port Townsend. The location is quiet, with a nice water view, especially from the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen is super, large and well equipped; the large washer & dryer was a big plus. There is a really nice big back yard, which we didn't use, but the many windows afforded great views of playful (and sleepy) deer wandering through the property daily.
The house itself is very old (historical site) but has been well maintained. The only bathroom is downstairs, with the two bedrooms upstairs, so one must be very careful heading down the steep stairs during the night (watch your head, the ceilings at the top are made for tiny people!). We knew there wasn't a fireplace prior to renting, but having one would have made the living room even more perfect, especially on chilly nights.
The house is a great base for long walks throughout the countryside; we also walked to dinner every night through the very safe-feeling neighborhood, and Christopher's was our favorite restaurant.
Suzanne was very responsive, and the family pictures around the house makes the house feel very welcoming. We will be back!."

"This is the second visit that my wife and I have made to this perfect cottage by the sea. We hope to make it a tradition every year. We live in Seattle, but, though it is only an hour away, staying on Bell's Beach, watching the eagles circle, and waking up to the sunrise over Saratoga Passage, the city seems so distant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough."

"We wanted a quiet, relaxing beach get-away for our 5th wedding anniversary and this was the place that came to mind because our previous stay a few years ago.
The house welcomed us and we instantly felt at home. We loved the well furnished kitchen, the cleanliness of the home and the Crows nest (Ka-Kaw!) to watch some beautiful October sunsets.
The location is great to take advantage of local visitor attractions: Camp Casey, a quick ferry ride over to Port Townsend, Historic downtown Coupeville, etc. and is a short walk to the cobblestone beach.
We feel blessed to have found this place and hope to someday visit in the summer when we can take advantage of the paddle boat on the lake.
Thank you for sharing it with us!"
