  • Awesome Home

"A stunning home that is well laid out and equipped for couples and children of all ages to find and enjoy their own space. Amenities abound. Kitchen is very well equipped and a delight to prepare even the most demanding of meals. Great hiking trails very close by. VRBO description is very accurate and if anything understated. Could not have asked for a more perfect home to gather our family and enjoy time together. The rental agent was very accommodating and a delight to work with."

  • A Fantastic Journey to the Pacific Northwest

"Call me Ishmael. On the arrival of June or July of each year, at the beginning of those 100 days or so of Hades in my home port of Charleston, I long for the cool breezes, clear waters, and tasty victuals of the Pacific Northwest. This summer, my aged aunt and I sallied forth to same, having in our packs comfort wear and light windbreakers. On arrival, we found our berths to be quite spacious and comfortable; and consistent with the age of the ship, the quarters were immaculate and served our purposes perfectly. On that first daybreak, we spied a great, dormant volcano to the Southeast. The water was a tranquil crystalline azure. A few other sailing vessels were on the horizon, following the incoming tide along the coast of adjacent Great Whidbey Island. The water was bracing, and nary another swimmer was seen. One of the locals later explained that the water is considered intemperate by most, but since I have suffer from chronic Dunlop's Malady, as well as having Welsh blood in my veins, I found swimming in the sea most bracing and invigorating. We spent much time on deck playing card games for small wager; and after a week at sea we were tied at that portent of good fortune: 7 matches apiece. At Even Time, we followed the course of the setting sun across the hills of Whidbey Island. We also could spy in the distance the Great Olympic Range, befitting in majesty its name. Meals were prepared in a very spacious and ample galley. The ship was also equipped with a strange, black rectangular object that was perhaps some flotsam or jetsam from an unfortuanate earlier venture. This dark curiosity was not further investigated during our week long voyage. Alas, and all too soon, we arrived back in port and returned to Oppressive Carolina where the heat and ague and miasma continue unabated."

  • Lovely Cottage With Loads of Amenities

"We have rented several properties through VRBO in the past including other homes in the Bellevue/Seattle area and we were very pleased with this cottage. My husband, myself, and our teenaged son were staying in the area for a week to visit family and this place was just what we needed. The view is gorgeous, the cottage has a lot of light and is VERY beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The cottage has all the needed conveniences and great care was taken to leave instructions and labels through the home to make everything easy to use. Due to multiple food sensitivities I have to cook all my own food when we travel, and the kitchenette here was very easy to use and had everything I needed. Full-sized refrigerator was very much appreciated. Neighborhood is quiet and seems quite safe. Karin was wonderful and really went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly for us. Also, it was quite nice to find that the single bathroom has entrances from both the living room and from the bedroom, which afforded much more privacy at night between us and our son, who was sleeping on the pull-out couch. Our only complaint was that the hot water for showers ran out rather quickly, which was a challenge for three people. But aside from that, I highly recommend this property!:)"

  • Say Family Mini Vacation Retreat

"We was with my family for the December 12 to the 14. We loved the house and the scenery and wanted to book it again for another getaway for 2015 summer, like between May to July. 5 stars to the whole trip and thumbs up to beautiful site. Spite the electricity being down for a couple of hours, but manage to improvised and make the best of it through the weekend for a vacay stay. We wish to be back soon as dated and bring our family together once again. Thank you..."
