  • Best weekend ever!

"10 of us adults from Seattle spent the weekend here for a 35th birthday and it was amazing! The house is a simple drive from the ferry. We arrived mid-Friday and left mid-Sunday. Spent the entire time walking on the beach at Useless Bay, sitting in the lovely lounge chairs in the front yard, cooking an epic meal on the grills outside, and even having an evening outdoor fire while watching the stars. A bald eagle even perched on the tree just across the road from the house! Langley is a quick drive away, where we dined Friday night, and enjoyed the new Kalakala Co. Mercantile beforehand. The house fit all of us well—lots of room, and the beds were very comfortable, plus we enjoyed the selection of movies, as well! Perfect getaway for a week or a weekend in any season. Highly recommended, super convenient & enjoyable, and the owners are just lovely."

  • Fantastic Winter Vacation

"We spent the week before Christmas at this lovely home on Lake Sawyer. The views were spectacular, the lakefront yard was incredible, and the home was beautifully appointed. We were able to entertain our friends and family here with the space of the home and parking it was ideal. Our kids loved the tree swing, feeding the ducks and squirrels, and the game area upstairs. The home was decorated for Christmas for us to celebrate with our family. All of the beds were very comfortable, the linens were superb, and the kitchen had everything we needed for holiday cooking for a week. We love the smore's makings that were there to greet us when we arrived to cook over the firepit. Santa even came by boat to give the kids candy cane's We absolutely love this house for any season and will definitely return soon!"

  • Five stars all the way!

"I am so happy that we were able to stay in this beautiful cottage. It was five stars the whole way. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The cottage was amply supplied with everything we possibly needed during our stay. My husband and I spent nine nights in this cottage and only wished it had been available for a few more. Karin was an absolute pleasure to work with. She communicated with us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The washer and dryer was a great bonus as we have been away from home for a few weeks. We appreciated all the special touches, including a welcome basket full of goodies. Thank you for providing such a comfortable and relaxing environment for us to call our home away from home."

  • Home away from home!

"Stayed here with my mother and two small children while in town visiting family. The house was welcoming and really just felt like our own place. Bonus - everything is on one floor so no worries about steps for kids or older adults. The master is on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms are on the other - this was nice since it afforded everyone some privacy (unlike a hotel room). The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, well-appointed and had a nice open layout. The kids had plenty of room to play and everyone could relax and enjoy the gorgeous setting. Wi-fi was easy to access and had a strong signal. The house is in a lovely, scenic neighborhood. The location is great - close to Bremerton, easy ferry access, not a bad drive to the airport. We took a nice drive to Dungeness Spit and Sequim. The Hood Canal is a reasonable drive, and the house is so much closer to the Olympic Forest than Seattle. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the chilly nights. We would gladly stay here again."
