  • loved loved this house!

"We stayed here the week of Thanksgiving and it was a perfect home base for a week. Our son and his girlfriend joined us for the week and this house was perfect. We made Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed to cook a wonderful dinner. The beds were very comfy and having an extra queen bed in the master was perfect for our 3 year old. We loved driving around the island and seeing the beautiful island and surrounding area. Do make sure you check the ferry schedule we had one issue as they take reservations for Coupville/Portownsend and was unable to get on 2 ferrys in one outing so we got a refund and went into town where I found some wonderful gifts, so for us still ended up having a wonderful day! The owner responds very quickly and was always nice to deal with."

  • Great place for family stay

"We come here often and works perfectly for our young family (2 kids under the age of 7). Lovely views, close to Langley. Deer in the garden."

  • Excellent accommodations, once again!

"We have now stayed at this home for two years in a row when attending an annual event in Langley, WA, which is just a few minutes' drive up the road. The space is accommodating for meal preparation and eating, the wifi works, and being able to include our dog makes it great. Julie is a great communicator and makes sure the home is fresh and clean every time."

  • T&J from SA, TX

"This was our second stay at the cottage and we enjoyed it even more than the first stay. The fresh baked pie at arrival was second to none, which is always a great start. The view is awesome, which is not only of Puget Sound, but of whatever wildlife or birds that may in the area. It is a great place to go and relax, relieve stress and appreciate the greater things in life. Edmonds is a great community to shop and eat. The ferry to Kingston leaves from downtown and you can even catch a train to Vancouver, B.C. if you want some adventure. There are many wild blackberry bushes to harvest in August & September, plus John & Laura grow all kinds of berries, plums, apples, and even some rhubarb. John & Laura are great hosts, always willing to provide information, and their "talking stool" idea is very helpful. We look forward to our next visit. The 38 or 39 steps down to the cottage can be a challenge, but it is still well worth it."
