  • A quaint home away from home...

"We booked the cottage for my son, daughter in law and young granddaughter. The proprietors could not of been more accommodating and helpful. After a 33 hours of travel, they were exhausted and this was a perfect place for them to rest. Kid friendly, spacious for a young family of three and everything you needed when you are away from home. My family got in very late (actually early the next morning) and Patricia and her husband were great about making sure the cottage was ready for them to get their wee one down for the night. Close to everything and price was very reasonable. Will definitely book there again next time we are on the island."

  • Home away from home!!

"My husband & I stayed @ this very lovely vrbo. We enjoyed every moment of our 1 mo. & 14 days vacation. Every thing that described the home was true to form. Gourmet/chef's delight! Every thing a gourmet chef would need was in the kitchen. Nothing missing. Beds were comfortable, and very clean, & sanitary. Walked to the beach and watched the ferry, great sunset and Mt. Rainier was a great sight to behold. Garden was a free flowing English type. My own secret garden--hummingbirds, varieties of finches and butterflies. The herb garden was an excellent source to infuse my tea w/lemon verbena. My husband recuperated speedily from a very delicate eye surgery w/the environment this lovely home gave us. The Host/Hostess were very attentive and hospitable to our every needs. Made the place something we could call Home. It met all the needs of the creature comfort of our home. Will come back and spend the whole summer here. As described, walking distance to the ferry, park, restaurants and gourmet ice cream parlors. The Saturday farmer's market was an excellent source of organic veggies & fruits. It is also a great jumping -off point for exploring the Puget/Olympic Peninsula. This place Tops it All! Becky & Jim"

  • Even better than expected!

"As we entered the gated driveway and made our way up to the house, we were amazed by the scenery and the grounds. This was a perfect getaway for a family during a very busy family wedding weekend. Plenty of room to be by yourself, yet have an intimate dinner for 14. Loved the grounds and the wildlife as well. The house had just about every amenity needed (some complained about no TV or Internet) but we had a fun time with out them."

  • excellent family holiday home

"Our family of four including two girls 9 and 12 recently spent 3 nights at Eagles Watch and had a wonderful stay. The location is amazing, very private and with incredible views across the inlet to mainland Washington and the Olympic mountains. The beach is literally steps away and at night all you can here is the ocean waves breaking on the beach beneath you. The house is incredibly well appointed with everything you could need for a family stay including a barbecue and a great deck. It is also very well located to explore Whidbey Island and we would highly recommend it to anyone!"
