  • Charming and Beautiful Inside and Out!

"The Penn Cove Cottage is charming; inside and out. The setting is beautiful on a quiet inlet off Penn Cove on Whidbey island. The cabin itself is really cute inside; clean and well equipped. And, even on a damp day I was distracted by the beauty of the setting. I stayed for a week while taking a workshop in Coupeville. The first (sunny) day I took a gorgeous walk to and from class. Coupeville has a nice variety of restaurants and little shops but I was happy most evenings to settle in at the cottage on the cove and relax! Thank you, Mary and Eric."

  • Anniversary at Sunset Paradise

"My wife and I spent a great week at Sunset Beach Paradise. This is a very nice property with an absolutely fantastic view of the western sky. We really enjoyed watching the Ferry boats run between Vashon and Southworth. The kitchen was very well equipped for most any task one would want to take on while on a vacation, Vashon has a good selection of dining choices if you prefer not to cook. We did not have need for the additional sleeping quarters though there were many additional bunks and full beds available for families. The area does get busier on a weekend, though we enjoyed the quiet during the week. There is a lot of outdoor seating to enjoy the breeze coming off the water as well as the beautiful sunsets. Vashon Island is wonderful place to explore with great shops and it offers a great scenic driving opportunity. The property owners were on site when we arrived and returned at weeks end. They are kind and eager to tend to your needs but equally considerate to your privacy. There are many properties listed as high bank which will give you a lengthy flight of stairs to access the beach, this property is at beach level, you will however be parking your car up the hill on the access road a short walk down the beach. This works well for those who intend to spend their time on the beach rather than driving around. I strongly suggest getting to the property and looking around then making a list of needs prior to heading into town to make purchases. There is pantry of spices, oils etc that are available to use and to be replenished by the next visitors. I cannot overstate how absolutely beautiful the sunset views are from this property. Be sure to check the tide tables and sunset times to know the best times for walks on the beach and your photo ops."

  • First time to Camano Island

"We got family together for Thanksgiving week at Marisol. Home had enough room to take of the eight of us. Plus could fit all of us at dining table that overlooks Port Susan. When I had difficulty getting gas fireplace going, Eric called me back and walked me through what to do. I left note to update next party of changes in instructions. Home felt comfortable and real. Family got to see eagles and to walk on tide pool when tide was out. Shopping for groceries is not to far away, plus there is a Haggen store in Stanwood that is incredible."

  • Beautiful spacious home on quiet Beaver Lake

"We enjoyed many wonderful amenities at the site: gourmet kitchen, life vests, sand box and play toys, two trampolines, an electric motor boat, an electric floating barge and two kayaks located in a protected cove, with a little sand beach that was great for our young swimmers. Nearby are water lily gardens, two hidden lakes and many inlets to explore by kayak. Deer, raccoon, ducks and bald eagle visited daily making many wonderful Washington memories for our family. No one wanted to leave and all hope to return some day."
