  • Perfect getaway!

"My boyfriend and I decided, last minute, to head out of town and have a nice little getaway. With the cold weather, having the hot tub was AWESOME! We felt so secluded and miles away from Seattle. It was so perfect sitting in the hot tub and overlooking a stunning view of the water and mountains. The house is really close to town so we could buzz in and grab groceries, but we mostly lounged around, watched TV, cooked and enjoyed the house. The kitchen has all the necessary tools, there's TONS of room, so we will likely be back with friends over the summer. They have really done a beautiful job with the place and we didn't want to leave. Shane also gave us the whole day Sunday since we got in so late on Friday, which was really nice. I'd absolutely recommend this for a couples getaway or, for friends and family looking for a place to getaway and enjoy an awesome deck and view! :)"

  • Great Stay

"We rented this lovely home for a guys weekend and had a great time. The views are amazing and we really liked the living area lay-out. We played a round of golf at Kayak, a great course only 10 minutes away, but spent most of our time enjoying the awesome views, hot tub, BBQ and watching movies. On our last day we watched a whale from the deck, which topped it off nicely!"

  • Overall, Enjoyed Our Stay

"Overall, the cottage is well equipped and cozy. It is a bit musty and damp, but improves once the heat is on. We had a welcoming committee of four rabbits one night when we came back from dinner. We also enjoyed listening to the frogs at night and black birds during the day. Place is quiet, and we felt safe. It would be nice to have an extra set of bath towels when staying more than one night, but that's minor."

  • What a great time, so much better than staying at Alderbrook Resort!

"Our family (Grandma, her kids and their teenage and toddler children) all had a blast! The fishing was super fun, the hot tub, fire place, TVs with DVD and VHS library. There were great games, toys, anything you need really. Sure it is not as fancy as Alderbrook but too me the private lake access and the kid and pet friendly environment was well worth it. Don't get me wrong, it is also very clean. We went down the road and had the best oysters $8/dozen from the Hunters Produce market. There were also fun exotic animals at this little stop too. We recommend stopping there. Quick drive out of Seattle too."
